Man Of Steel
I haven't seen it, but I've heard it's pretty solid. Perhaps this is just the group of friends that I have on Facebook, but the main complaint I've read is that Hans Zimmer did the soundtrack, and it apparently sounds A LOT like the soundtracks of the "Batman" trilogy (which he was also responsible for, at least in part).

Life of Pi
Agreed. I didn't think it should've been nearly as hyped as it was. I was disappointed. Visuals are nice, but they're not everything.

Mixtape Exchange XV (Summer edition)
But I liked the one he made me, though... :(

Awww, c'mon Billy. It won't be that bad.

Mixtape Exchange XV (Summer edition)
Fran, I'm going to laugh really hard if I get my tape and I find out it's you for the third time.

Mixtape Exchange XV (Summer edition)
I admire all you people who can start putting together tapes before receiving partners. I feel like I absolutely have to have some basis to go on before I can even think about options, let alone pick songs and make sure they flow properly.

2013 Upcoming releases.
^^ Yeah, I'm looking forward to those, too, particularly White Lies. I just hope it's better than "Ritual" was.

2013 Songs Worth Listening To
"Pressure"-Until the Ribbon Breaks This has been around for a while, but I'm sharing now, as I've just noticed no one's talked about it. I've been hooked on this song for who knows how long. :bomb:

PROM
Yeah, I know. The sad thing about that is that I participated in that because it was one of the only dances I knew how to do. :bigcry:

PROM
Oh yeah, there was still dancing pn my part at my prom (although I was much more active at Homecoming than I was at Prom). I was in high school back when "Crank Dat Soulja Boy" was still popular, and songs like that were more or less set in stone to be played at school dances.

Just to let everyone else who may come across this thread know, you still have two weeks before sign-up closes. :nice:

PROM
I remember my senior prom. I went for basically the same reason Kat decided to go to hers, what with a good chunk of my friends being there and wanting to spend more time with them before we went our separate ways. Our proms here have themes that change every year, and when I went, it was a masquerade theme, so I had a mask that I slightly altered so it would better match my dress (which was a burgundy color...I still have it). Anyway, I got bored, and I realized I wasn't really enjoying myself, so I left early. Like with other people's proms, the music was lame; we had some local DJ play a bunch of Top 40 stuff that I didn't like. :\

Ask Anthony (Q&A)
Yeah, same here. I remember how much more time I spent in The Lounge when I first signed up in comparison to now.

Pericoronitis
Yeah, it's kinda why I eventually gave up posting in those threads. That, and my Internet is really slow, so even if I did post something, I'm behind in terms of the conversation, which is annoying in itself.

LGBT thread
Well yeah, sure, that doesn't surprise me at all. The church makes money off a lot of things. It's why televangelism is so popular in some parts of the States. They didn't get those mega-churches from nowhere.

Pericoronitis
OUCH. :( I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully, you've got some good meds to numb the pain. Anyway...uhhhhh...I'm not the most entertaining person in the world, but I can try. How can I best entertain you?

LGBT thread
What I always find annoying about these sorts of things is that people are so enraged about things like this which don't affect marriages at all while ignoring the things that do (adultery, abuse, etc.) I would also like to point out that religion is literally the only reason I've ever heard for being opposed to it. This is yet another example of that reason at work. Why don't you approve of same-sex marriage? It's against the traditional meaning. Where do you get this meaning from? God. Really, I'm just so TIRED of this.

Ask Anthony (Q&A)
I didn't mean for it to be cruel. It probably came off a bit more blunt than I was intending. I just know that my own use of the forum until recently has been pretty sporadic, and because of that, I wouldn't have taken much notice of anyone who just happened to take a leave of absence.
