OOOH, Kelly went to that last night! I can't wait for her to drop by and tell us how it was from a live standpoint.

Atoms For Peace (Thom Yorke+Flea+others)
According to a dude on another forum I visit, "Amok" is terrible and should be avoided. Thoughts?

Alt-J Δ
No, it's a delta sign. That's the band's name. They're just typically known as "Alt-J" because that's how you get Δ on a Mac computer.

So, I'm considering RADIOHEAD
I don't really know how to go about making a backing track, so maybe you should do that bit, if that's OK with you.

So, I'm considering RADIOHEAD
Speaking of which, I'll try to remember to record that Liam/Noel one as promised within the coming days. I did have a question, however: Should I try to emulate the Gallaghers' accents, or should I just stick to my own, slightly Southern, American one?

Mixtape Exchange XIV CLOSED! XVI coming soon!!! Very soon!
Don't worry, Rafael. People are more than likely to get at least something interesting out of a mix you do. Even if that doesn't happen, people appreciate that you took the time and effort to make something for them. You should come do it, anyway. I know I wouldn't mind getting a tape from you. (Maybe you can show me Plan B or something.)

I still don't get that comparison, if I'm honest.

Alt-J Δ
Yeah, I noticed that. I happened to download a podcast of a Tiny Desk concert they did for NPR. It makes me wonder how he alters his throat to the point where it makes him sound that much different.

2013 Upcoming releases.
^ I just looked that up. It seems it's a rarities compilation instead of new music. Nevertheless, it's excellent news.

Of all the magazines to interview her, why is Beyoncé doing an interview with GQ? Dunno, just seems an odd pairing to me.

Albums of the Year 2012 - Countdown
I don't quite agree with that. They spend quite a bit of time writing this stuff. I imagine that's particularly true with Chris' two songs, seeing as these are his first ones. I think that with all their albums (even with T2L), they at least try to do something new that they haven't done, pulling influences from different sources and using tools they haven't used. However, I think Muse left something to be desired in terms of execution. Some of what they probably thought was a good idea in theory didn't come off right to us in context.
