    vs. :cheesy:
  9. Uhhhhh. Several days ago, maybe? WWTLTY ate something that disagreed with you?
  10. ^ That comment about southern accents reminds me of how I was messing around with accents, and someone told me that my Scottish accent was better than my deep southern accent. I'm a born-and-bred Texan. ...Yeah. Weird. :|
  11. Have you tried doing a different region of American than the one you were trying to do? There are several options you can choose from. Maybe you sound better as, say, a New Englander than you do with a general Midwestern accent. Or something like that. Just keep trying. Maybe it'll come to you with practice.

That's not so avant-garde, though. Even if you couldn't decipher the title just by noticing that, all you'd need to decipher it is a code wheel. But yeah. Like the concept of the thread. I wouldn't call myself "avant-garde," so much as "unconventional."
  13. Cruel? Not really. Anybody with even a little bit of sense should know that Coldplay wouldn't hang around the forums like that. If they fall for it, it's their fault for being gullible.
  14. "The Hunger Games" is overrated. Of course, I say this as a person who hadn't read the books before watching, but I just didn't get the hype. Also, Jennifer Lawrence is a terrible actress.

  20. Well, it'd be better if you at least waited until we assign partners to everyone. That way, you can make adjustments as you see fit before sending it in. It's great that you've already made a tape, though. That puts you ahead of the game.
  21. I've learned a little about the Cristero War of Mexico via a film of historical fiction. The film in itself wasn't exactly the best, but it was informational, in a way. Also, on a completely unrelated note, I have finally learned how to pronounce Ioan Gruffudd's name properly. Thank you, Wiki, for your link on Welsh IPA.
  22. Of course you can participate! The more, the merrier. The only thing we ask is that you, as you mentioned, follow the terms and conditions. Don't miss the deadlines, and you'll be alright. :nice:
  23. Could you really? :cheesy:
  24. Oh geez. I tried playing that once. My brothers started playing, and I wanted to see what it was like. I didn't like it.
