  1. I remember when I first saw the music video for TIRO (back when I had never even heard of Muse, and I didn't become a fan until a while after that). I thought Matt sounded and looked weird, and that was literally the only thing I could concentrate on at the time.
  2. "Unintended" will forever be one of my favorites. I also quite like "Falling Down," oddly enough. It's more songs like "Overdue" and "Fillip" that kinda get on my nerves a little bit. (Although, admittedly, I like the last bit of "Fillip.")

  6. Oh geez, I dunno. I'll go with "Brianstorm" by default, since I can't make up my mind. Lacuna Coil

  15. That's precisely the reason why I'm so lax with it. It's their first one, and they were 18-19 when it was released. Matt himself said they had no idea what they were doing when they recorded it. Despite all that, it's still a solid album. Some of the songs on that album will be forever dear to me. ("Escape" comes to mind.)
  16. There's no shame in that. I think it's my least fave album, if I'm honest. It's still better than the Newton-Abbot demo, though.
  17. Right, sorry. I meant the album. I love the song.
  18. I can't remember the last time I listened to "Showbiz" all the way through.
  19. ^ The chorus of "Overdue" pretty much kills it. "YOOOOOU KNOW THAT I CAAAAARE. YOOOOOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THEEEEERE." Just shut up already, Matt. Jesus Christ.
  20. You know, Eddie, that mix kinda reminds me of the one I got for MTE 7. I still happen to have it. I may have to go listen to it, if only to remind me what that New Order song sounds like.
  21. I'll have to make a note to drop by there if I ever make my way across the pond and end up in the area. Thanks for the suggestion!
  22. At least that song's just a cover. Speaking of covers, my dad hates it when I play "Popcorn." He was in his teens when the original song came out, and he told me not too long ago that he still finds it incredibly annoying. :disappointed:
  23. They both opened for Coldplay on certain legs of this tour. The only reason I know that is because I visited the Coldplay Live subforum.
  24. I'm exactly the same way. This is why reading "Twilight" was a nightmare. (I was curious, OK? :bigcry:) I didn't want to read it anymore, but I couldn't put it down. I felt like that book was slowly eating away at my soul. :dead: Oh sweet, someone else is reading Sherlock Holmes! I'm about to start on Volume 2, which begins after "The Hound of the Baskervilles." :awesome: Other things: ♦ I've reread "The Catcher in the Rye" so many times. It's really a nice book to go back and visit. :nice: ♦ You'll love "Jane Eyre." I'm rather partial to the classics, anyway, but I'm fond of the Brontë sisters. Ohhh, "Hamlet." This took up a good portion of my summer before my senior year of high school. I had to read it and keep a dialectical journal over it. I had to do this with several other books as well. ("Beowulf" was one of them. BLARGH. xP) Good times.
  25. "Crazy, Stupid, Love." 10/10. Without a doubt one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. AND JOSH GROBAN IS IN IT. :dazzled: (As a minor character, mind you. BUT STILL.)
