  1. Awwwww :disappointed: I don't even really listen to them any more either :P
  2. Well, technically, no festivals have really except for the few that Coldplay have played at/are going to play at this year :P Not that it matters. I'm still excited :D

Lyrics that simple with a bassline that good will always stick. Always :awesome:
  4. Your musical compatibility with mavi_kiz is SUPER Music you have in common includes Editors, Arctic Monkeys, Noah and the Whale, Explosions in the Sky and Sufjan Stevens.
  5. Still getting through my first listen... yeah, 20 songs is way too long and there's just not enough there to keep you interested. I still quite like Little Shocks, and Heard it Break just annoys the hell out of me. The rest are ok though.
  6. Yep :awesome: White Stripes?

Ahhhhhh that's the first time I've heard one of their new songs, I really really like Velociraptor!! The comical aspect of the chorus is enough to make up for its weirdness  :bomb:
  8. I might take a look at it, seeing as I'm one of those 6 to yet receive a mixtape
  9. Hmmmm I actually like that. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME :wreck: Seriously though, once exams are over I'll try to look into him a bit more. And maybe after I get more familiar with Kanye's stuff. After all I am going to see him LIVE :awesome:
  10. *tries to patiently wait for tape to show up in inbox* :disappointed:
  11. I've actually seen a lot of the new songs live, it's just that I saw them earlier in the year before the album was released so I didn't know any of them. Which means they're just going to be even more amaaaaazing!!! :D
  12. I'm a little bit confused with your post lol. What do you mean by "will they realise who they're playing to?" Well, it's just another big festival, just on the other side of the world. Judging by their performance that I saw in Melb, the crowd pretty much reacted as I'd seen in any other video of them playing live so I'm only guessing it will be the same. I'm actually going to have to brush up on my lyrics I think, haha! And no way would they focus on the first 3 albums. No way. Not with VLV such a worldwide hit and a new album coming out soon. Just sayin'. You can live in hope though :P
  13. SO excited for this album! :D
  14. :awesome: Aren't they fun live? I can't wait to see them in a couple of months' time!
  15. ^ :laugh3: Natt, you Wolstencrazy! Thanks for clarifying that, my brain wasn't quite sure what to imagine.
  16. Oooooh went a downloaded all 20, gonna give them a listen today :awesome:
  17. ... what's Wolstenfiercing? :uhoh: (I'm sorry, I'm not very fluent in Wolstenlish just yet :disappointed: YES YES YES YES YES YES I also need to listen to Death Cab /two pages behind
  18. Hahaha it's all good. I guess it's just unlucky that I love those types of songs  Did you ever listen to the new Foals material? It's a bit softer and not as shout-y as the stuff off their debut, maaaaaaaybe you might like them more, just a little bit? You should definitely listen to the new Strokes album! I love it. There are quite a few songs on there that are along the same dancey, happy kinda lines so hopefully you'll like them! I also absolutely love Friendly Fires so I'm going to say, check out their new one! It is a bit different to their first though, not quite as much punk mixed in with the dance. With the Foster the People album, 'Pumped Up Kicks' is kinda the only song really like that on the album, but I'd still recommend giving the album a go. I think it's great :awesome: And Fleet Foxes ftw! Hi Paula, nice to meet you! :nice: I'm Grace (if you hadn't figured that out already :P) Yesss I love Kasabian, you'll be seeing me a bit in there on the lead up to their new album
  19. ^maybe I will then! It is a Friday night after all :p True, but hey. I still think it's kinda cool even though I'm not going to bother coming up with my own album. At least they're trying something new, even though it may or may not work out well for them in the long run. And I'm pretty sure 'Little Shocks' will be played so you can pencil that one in :P
  20. OK now guys just cool it. There's no need for fighting on here and it's not going to achieve anything. Chances are you're never even going to have a single clue who the other one is so don't even bother getting upset. If you have to, go somewhere else and argue. It doesn't exactly make it nice for the rest of us here.
  21. Or they could just be experimenting. What if they actually do have their own tracklisting set up, but first they want to see if what they pick coincide with what the fans would pick. They could just be trying to be cool and coming up with something new. In a way, I think it's great that we'll end up with 20 songs rather than somewhere between 10 and 15 we would normally be expecting.
  22. WHOAH why are you talking Coldplay here? Strictly Kaiser Chiefs please :P
  23. It's not so bad. Definitely sounds like Coldplay.
  24. Haha, I've been trying to figure out how that works since my last post. I think I may just do what you're doing :P Edit: now trying to figure out how and if this is even going to work with a physical release?
  25. I've just realised the new song has its own sub-forum :wtf:
