Ohh good, I'm getting to that song soon! Aussie hip hop seems to be almost a sub-genre of hip hop itself. I can't stand it either. Like I said, Kanye's the only rapper I only really listen to, unless you count Gorillaz :P Never really even looked into Lupe's stuff, or Jay-Z's for that matter besides when I saw him open for U2.

Haha, I feel your pain there! I've been listening to Chemical Brothers all day to try and keep myself a little bit sane. It hasn't really been working though.. Listening to Late Registration, rather enjoying it! The thing I like about Kanye is that I guess he's the first rapper I've ever really taken the time to listen. A couple of years ago I would have been like "hahaha it's rap therefore I hate it". I can vividly remember despising Gold Digger when it was popular and on Rage every week. I'm glad that time has passed. Because I actually really enjoy it when I can admit it to myself :P So here's a difficult question for someone as fanboy-ish as you, what is your favourite Kanye song?

Who knows, perhaps 2011's Tame Impala will jump up out of nowhere and just blow us all away completely. We can only hope.

I wish they would. But at the same time I can't really see anything coming out for a while either. And I'd like them to take the time to make a GOOD sophomore. I'll hope for next year. So I'm trying to make a list of Aussie albums that have come out this year, and so far I have: Art vs Science - The Experiment Cut Copy - Zonoscope The Middle East - I Want That You Are Always Happy Sparkadia - The Great Impression And that's it. In six months :P All I have on my iTunes, anyway. What am I missing?

Oh and Jamie, the Splendour vehicle campground passes went on sale this morning, I don't know if you'll be needing one but if you do I'd get in quick to make sure you can arrive on the day you want to!

Future did just that a little bit this year, at least with the addition of Tame Impala. They don't exactly fit into either techno or electronic as genres. I'd love to see the return of V fest! Too many festivals might prove too much for the wallet, though... Laneway is probably going to be a given for me as well though. It was so amazing this year! Anyway. I'm going to stop thinking about summer festivals for a while and focus on the closer, bigger winter festival approaching us! :awesome:

Haha, who cares? I'll be going no matter what festival if they'll be there! Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver for Laneway would be amazing. Arctic Monkeys and/or Death Cab for Big Day Out or even Falls, possible even Future? Who knows.

Matt just said so, during an interview on the J :awesome: Liking new Panics, I'd love to go and see them but I'll be out of Bris by then so hopefully I won't miss their set at Splendour. Also considering Liam Finn seeing as tickets are only about $25 for him as well/

I watched that whole video thinking "he doesn't really look/dress like Julian" and then there was one shot (about 3:50) where I actually could have sworn Julian had just jumped on set to chill with the rest of the band :|

Hmmm that's the first time I'd heard of them. I quite like the style of the music but the vocals remind me a little of The Tallest Man on Earth (though about 10 of him), and I personally can't stand his voice :\ I won't judge until I've heard the album, but I'm not a huge fan of that song.

I used to fight with both of my siblings occasionally when we were all living at home, but never seriously. We've always been really close. And now that my sister and I have both moved out of home, my siblings are two of my best friends. I miss them so much sometimes.

Haha yeah I know. But it's always nice to see bands in a concert rather than a festival setting. Either way, really looking forward to seeing them :D

Awwwww it's going to be released on my birthday! It better be good :P If it's going to be like Still Life though I think I'm going to like it :awesome:
