To be completely honest, I've kind of forgotten about Arcade Fire. Of course I still want to see them, but with rumours of Coldplay, Kanye and especially (for me) Arctic Monkeys there's plenty enough there to keep me excited. I'm even excited about The Vaccines and The Kills, for god's sake :P And I'm glad you're starting up again! The reason I asked was because Foals is coming up and, well, yeah, it's Foals :blush: Edit: typed before I saw your post, Bryce :P It leaked?? EDIT AGAIN: I just remembered it's Friday.Wow.

Caught up with a friend and went to the most amazing/interesting party at another friend's place I've ever been to... involving fire-twirling, mango trees, home-made chai, a very danceable-reggae-style live band, electroacupuncture therapy and an acoustic singalong when the police forced us to shut down all electronic music (:p) I love my life :awesome:

The Drums will be fun. I still kinda want to go see Wombats but I think I'll hold off - definitely getting Middle East tickets though! And now I guess I'm going to HAVE to listen to Parades :P

Managed to get a pretty good quality copy of the album, listened to it thrice now and I'm really enjoying it. Granted, I loved the first album bit didn't listen to it THAT much (or at least I haven't for a long time) so then can't really compare them... but I really like the new album. There are some really interesting instruments involved in a couple of the songs. I love the way (much like the first album I guess) that it can be melancholy but quite cheerful at the same time. It's still definitely Fleet Foxes :wacky:

It's expensive enough without having to make the trip up, I understand completely! Sideshows can be so much better than festival slots anyway. Not going to make any efforts to listen to the one night stand. I'm over Art vs Science and was never really into BoT, but wouldn't mind hearing the Jezabels. I might tune if I happen to be in my room when it's on, lol. Middle East EP is epic. I've got high expectations for the album, but like you said, even half as good will still be great!

Haha, I'm NOT going to see The Drums, or HKoH, or Darwin Deez, or The Wombats just I can justify Splendour! You said it Alex, if Arctic Monkeys are playing I am NOT going to miss out! I am going to see the Holidays in a fortnight though, which I am excited about :awesome:
