  1. Have fun!!! They are sensational live :wacky:
  2. Whoah!! And it was me complaining.. haha. I haven't actually listened to the album apart from what I've heard on the radio. Is it worth a listen? If it's going to become the next BoT then perhaps I don't want to.
  3. I feel your pain there. I really, really wish I could listen to music and study at the same time :disappointed:
  4. Vid for the new song up on their site. http://www.arcticmonkeys.com/ Not all that original, but colourful :wacky:

ELBOW CONFIRMED TO PLAY SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS :bomb:
  6. Bahaha :p I completely agree, I wasn't so much complaining as just... ok maybe I was complaining, but that's because I'm a stingy uni student unwilling to part with my money :p Definitely going to try for tickets, though!!
  7. Splendour in the Grass lineup http://www.fasterlouder.com.au/news/local/28134/Splendour-in-the-Grass-2011-lineup :wacky:

  11. Love the new album, especially "Future Starts Slow". That drumming is pretty damn epic.
  12. They've been confirmed to play Splendour in the Grass :wacky:
  13. Completely addicted to the album right now. And yeah, 'Norgaard' is one of my favourites, too :D
  14. ^ totally cool with that, there's only a couple in that list I'd really like to see. ahhhhh the suspense :bomb:
  15. Uploaded, sent, done. Now to wait
  16. I like it after first listen, much better than Brick By Brick! I have a YouTube rip if anyone wants it, just pm me :D
  17. That's cool :nice: ... but why? :P
  18. Oh well, thanks anyway for recording :D I was just going to say, you can try again Sunday if you're really unhappy with it. Either way, any live recording is great as there aren't enough bootlegs around of this band! Only a couple of days til Splendour lineup is released!!!! Unfortunately I'm going to be out camping in the middle of nowhere so I'm not going to be able to see the lineup until Thursday afternoon :bomb:
  19. ^ YAY!! Just started listening. I have to agree, they were absolutely stunning, both times I saw them. Spanish Sahara live literally takes my breath away. Getting shivers down my spine listening to it now. Oh, and I actually don't have a copy of the 8-track recording of the Middle East, I need to get that
  20. Got all the songs there, just have to put them in the right order :)
  21. Thoroughly enjoying the new album :)
  22. I see where you're coming from there. I'm going to listen to it a couple more times before making my decision, but at the moment I'd agree that Land of the Bloody Unknown is a standout track. I quite like Mount Morgan, too (which is kind of ironic, because I really don't like the town of Mount Morgan, which is a little town not too far from my hometown :P)
  23. The Kills - Blood Pressures and The Middle East - I Want That You Are Always Happy Not better than their EP, but still worth a listen.
  24. The Kills - Heart is a Beating Drum
  25. woah, didn't know that! Poor Laura :( That just makes me sad for both of them.
