I agree. Bob Katter looked absolutely ridiculous and he can't even read properly. Gypsy and the Cat's debut comes out on Friday, I'd like to give that a couple of listens. I haven't yet listened to John Steel Singers' or Julia's album yet, but I will once these exams are out of the way.

Yeah, they were called Iotah before they had to change it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought channel nine televised the aria's last year? Either way I think we can assume it's not going to be ten again next year :P

The only hype there is about those guys is the hype Triple J is creating around them. Haha, I'd vote for them :P It's quite funny how much channel ten has copped over Sunday night. It serves them right, so it will be interesting to see what they do next year.

How many will be on this panel? I'd vote Alex, Jamie and Bryce... you guys all seem to know what you're talking about :P

^ haha, awesome (re: 400th post..) I watched the ARIAs last night and, ugh, the hosts were beyond awful. I felt embarrassed watching them. At least Powderfinger and Temper Trap got recognised. Angus and Julia's acceptance speech was just so cute it almost made up for the rest of the awards, haha :D

NEW CUT COPY LP! NEWS ON THE NEW CUT COPY ALBUM! The album will be called 'Zonoscope' Due out for release on February 4, which is the day I get to see them play at Laneway! Woo! In other news, Also, Caribou and Four Tet dates if that's your thing: Tuesday 15th February – Brisbane, The Zoo Wednesday 16th February – Melbourne, The Hi-Fi Thursday 17th February – Sydney, Metro Friday 18th February – Sydney, Playground Festival Saturday 19th February – Perth International Arts Festival, Becks Music Box And finally, Bluesfest 2011 lineup has been announced (I know we're all big blues fans here :P), including Bob Dylan, BB. King and Elvis Costello & The Imposters.

I'd probably go for Love Lost in that list. I won't be watching the ARIAs either, mostly because I don't have a TV.

Only what I've heard on Triple J today and in the past few months :P I think the album comes out on Friday doesn't it? I've seen them live a couple of times too, they put on a decent enough show. The horse heads are a little creepy though...
