^ Yeah, I'm so happy they're going to be there next year! I was devastated when they cancelled their appearance at last year's good vibes. Woo!

That's just how awesome we are. I suppose it's a bit harder for people from perth in the way that no-one seems to go there. Bands always tour the east coast but many tend to leave out the rest, sadly. Also, I forgot to say about boy and bear, my friend and I were a little late getting to the venue but we arrived during the first support act (Passenger, solo act) and he was playing in the middle of the floor with a few of the members of boy and bear. I couldn't really see what was going on and I have no idea why they did that but it was awesome! Other support act, The Chemist, wasn't nearly as good with the crowd as the first but they were still quite good. And the keyboard player was ridiculously good looking, which helped :wacky:

Yes, do! They're great :D I think so anyway. Peer pressure, haha! I know what you mean by that though :P I was introduced to them live so I think that very quickly influenced the way I thought about them, and that just hasn't changed. And they were much better last night than the last time I saw them.

^^ Ahaha that would be hilarious/awesome! I just can not get into washington, at all. There's one or two of her songs that I don't mind but I turn off the radio when any of the others are played. Also, just got back from seeing Boy and Bear. Brilliance; enough said.

Haha, I have to agree, the only bands that I like that get played on mainstream radio are like Angus and Julia, and the Temper Trap, so they're not really that mainstream anyway. Of course we're all pretty similarly-minded (just going by the fact that we're all on this forum to begin with) so we're going to be biased! Also, yes, Seabelllies are awesome :D I went out and bought the album after listening to it on their myspace.

I meant that in the way that festivals are becoming more popular so there are more of them... I would have liked to have gone to a V-fest. It's interesting that they were big enough to have a headline such as the killers and then all of a sudden be too broke/unpopular to have anyone!

Bands just don't seem to like Brisbane for some reason. I probably wouldn't have gone anyway, just saying. But regards to the no. festivals, I was going to say, all the better for us!

That's awesome for you, Alex! :nice: Also, 30min of live music is better than none! Totally going to watch Florence's set at least, even if it is on so late (and on a Monday...). This means I might have to figure out how to actually use the digital set-top box thing. I don't usually watch tv, clearly  Apparently... http://www.messandnoise.com/articles/573892 (near the bottom)

Describe The Evolution Of Your Music Taste
Awww   It also really depends on the access you have to different types of music, to find what you like most! But I agree, temperament makes a huge difference. I've only recently started listening to older bands, like Jeff Buckley and Simon and Garfunkel (as well :P)

Pretty sure it's the guitarist that quit :P Anyway, I guess I'm just uncertain that they'll be touring much more after this American tour unless the new guy's going to become a permanent member of the band. Hopefully they make it work though. We'll keep our hopes up that they will! :laugh3: CLASSIC. Plenty of them, too.
