In Brisbane, Aus :D I got standing tix and I'm hoping to get right up the front, it will be EPIC. How long have they been touring for now?

I'm yet to actually get the album but I've been listening to them a fair bit on youtube/myspace, and I really like it! I love all the different layers, and the way you can find something new in the song every time you listen to it... that's one of the reason's I fell in love with Foals' new stuff, too :wacky: Haha, I'll likely be going by myself. All my friends are either too stingy/not obsessed with the bands enough/don't even know the bands to go, lol. I'm kinda getting used to going to festivals alone, as sad and unloved as that makes me sound :P You can always stay in Brisbane an extra month and go to the Brisbane one! Haha.

Beach House, Yeasayer, The Holidays, Cut Copy, Cloud Control... plus FOALS AND TWO DOOR!!!!!!! SO THERE IT'S INSANE

Hmmm well I'm guessing their show here would have to be at the Tivoli, which is only 1500 capacity. But the next biggest is the Entertainment Centre which holds 13,500 and they wouldn't fill that.

Hmm, Future might be cool but since I'm now going to Good Vibes I probably won't go unless there's someone I really want to see. As for Laneway, bring on Tuesday! I've pretty much decided to go no matter what the lineup is, haha.

Today was cold, wet and windy. Ew. And I think tomorrow's meant to be the same. My umbrella's getting a lot of love lately.

I go to as many concerts and buy as many CDs as my budget allows! Which has been a fair bit this year but that will become less and less :sad: About 1/4 of the music in my iTunes is music I've bought :\ That's what they all say... I know exactly what you mean! I've probably gone to more (or at least as many) concerts by myself as with other people. My first ever concert I went by myself. I have a few friends with similar music tastes, but they just don't want to spend the money on gigs like I do. I don't really care though, I love meeting new people at concerts, and sometimes you can make some really good friends! Going to concerts is one of my favourite things to do too, it's become my 'release' since I've been forced to give up the sport I love. I think that's why I've become so obsessed with them this past year. I think I've kind of shocked/surprised a lot of the people I've grown up with :P

... for living in Brisbane? :disappointed: In my defence, our entire winters are much more pleasant than yours, HA.
