I'm not sure if it's just a musician pet peeve kind of thing, but the performances just sound messy. So did FTB/Glastonbury. I've never been a fan of multiple drummers. I'd prefer it if they just stripped down the songs and made simpler In Rainbows-esque versions.

I've heard it. It's 20 years old, man :\ If Radiohead broke up today, that would be a huge shock. Because they're still relevant in the music scene and trying new things. REM were still making the same boring rock music they had been doing for 30 years. Them breaking up was not a huge loss for music.

I'm probably going to sound like a dick here, but why are you guys so upset? a very old, not very interesting, not extremely active band broke up and you guys are reacting like it's the end of the music??? I don't get it. I mean...one of my favourite bands, Brains, broke up earlier this year, just after they released their incredible debut album and did a nationwide tour. This was a huge shock to me. No one was expecting this. They're a young band and they hadn't really gotten anywhere yet. But R.E.M are 30 years old and they have had huge successes quite a few times. They had to break up someday right???? hggf, sorry if i 'offended' you or anything but wtf?

jesus that is an incredible line up brb killing myself But on the other hand, I don't think I'd enjoy that too much. Four Tet's live set does not fit a radiohead fan/support slot atmosphere at all. When I saw him it was midnight in an empty pool full with people wanting to party. It was perfect. I assume the same would apply with Falty DL and Pearson Sound, but I'm sure RN9 would be a great opener.

Yeah, TV shows never work for bands (unless it's Jools Holland or something, which is made for bands). I guess the mixers/engineers don't know how to set up a band :\
