Both are amazing though, if you are more interested in Ghost in the Shell, the 2nd movie is even more of a headfuck, but then the series Stand Alone Complex is...not dumbed down as such but it's a much easier pill to swallow and it deals with some of the same issues that the films deal with.

Yeah Lost is one of the best written shows on TV at the moment, if not the best. I love it so much, I am doing the Lost Rewatch at the moment and comparing theories with other fans on a forum, no other TV show at the moment has the same kind of depth that Lost has. It's also the only show where I prefer to watch it weekly, so I can have theories in the gaps between the episodes. Even if you don't like it, you can't call it the worst show ever because of the amount of effort the writers put into it, you can't even compare it to some cheap brainless shit program that fills the rest of the airwaves.
