I'd say the best to use for a film would be Parachutes and other early songs. They just seem like they tell a better story.

I do not ever consider Coldplay "the best" band in the world. They are my favorite, but there is no "best". Everyone likes something different. Impossible for any one band to please everybody. If someone doesn't like Coldplay, that's fine with me, just don't call me gay because you saw it in a shit Steve Carrell movie.

aww man I didn't know you were a Frames fan. Fake and Finally are the best songs on that album hands down. that's not an album Very true, but it is a difficult album to get into, and it's not really rock except for a few songs. Too slow I think for what this person is looking for.

hahaha heavy metal band? if you consider repetitive, overly-simple, sellout pop to be heavy, then maybe...:shrug:

"The Cost" by The Frames. Just go look up some reviews anywhere and you'll see nearly every one says it's the best band no one has ever heard of. That is their best album imo and it is soft and sometimes a little loud and slow occasionally but not dull. It's like the perfect album. it's like Coldplay-ish rock but with a slight more edge I guess, rock but not too rocky. just check it out and you'll love it I guarantee 100%.
