I hate it when I'm in a science class, and we have to watch a video about the start of the universe. I can't just sit there mindlessly and think about lunch, my mind always starts to wander into the point of life and what death will be like. What was so special about the 80's and 90's? The groundbreaking ideas and trends were in the 60's and 70's. And I personally like the 00's because a lot of my favorite bands have been at their best this decade. But nothing extremely earth-shattering has happened in a long time in music.

No offense, but to think this thread was looking for a real answer is the stupid part. Did you actually think he was waiting for a definitive answer? The point of this thread was exactly what happened, some real discussion over people's views on the point of life. Notice how he didn't just ignore me when I said there is no point and that all answers are relative? I'm starting to know his persona as well and as little as you will believe it he's not just being an asshole. Wanting real threads and being fed up with stupidity does not make someone an asshole, it makes them human. And he was not having a "kick" with my answers, but even if he was I don't really care. I said what I wanted to and if someone doesn't like that well tough for them.
