  1. First off, I don't think there's any "pre-teens" here. Second, you are someone who uses one of the most annoying yet unknown forms of discrimination: You assume all young people are stupid or ignorant. Well read what I've written here and then check my age, I'm 16. So yeah, it is possible for someone younger than 18 to have real thoughts in their head, as shocking as that may sound. As for the second half of your post, that is just ignorant.
  2. I don't think it's "fucking retarted" at all. Trying to start an intelligent conversation is never a bad thing, it's a hell of a lot better than another waffle thread. He was able to play devil's advocate and challenge people's beliefs, hopefully getting people to open their minds a little. Plus now he knows better which people on here have similar opinions. No one's thread should be attacked, regardless of if you don't like the person. But especially not a thread that's attempting to provoke real thought.
  3. I heard the new song "United States of Eurasia". Umm, wannabe Queen anyone?
  4. So no one from a public forum is intelligent enough to have a real opinion? It should just be expected that every single member will have a ridiculous answer? And if people do see a serious thread and intentionally respond with stupid answers just for the sake of ruining the conversation, they deserve to be mocked.
  5. I don't know the Mods well enough to have a favorite :\
  6. Of course it isn't and that's one of the things more people should realize about life. It really is not fair. Not everyone gets to do what they wanted and have the life they wanted. And people need to get over that and try to find happiness where they can. And yeah suicide is taboo in our culture, but in America, so is gay marriage. In some areas, so is equality for all races. I've found that what's "culturally taboo" isn't necessarily wrong. And I have a feeling you feel the same way.
  7. It's because I've been asked this before; it doesn't mean the asker is depressed, it's just an opener for a debate and some mind-opening. I'm not saying that. I know a lot of people are stuck in situations they aren't happy with. But most of those people do find some happiness elsewhere; family, hobbies, Fight Club, whatever it is for them. What I'm saying is, if a person has no happiness whatsoever and they feel they don't want to live anymore, I'm in no position to tell them that's wrong. I would try to help them figure out something good in their life, but if someone is truly not wanting to live anymore, why should they be forced to?
  8. I added this to that post after I read it over: I'm not saying you should kill yourself, but if everyday is just filled with misery and you are convinced you can never have any happiness, perhaps it's best to be "put out of your misery". But then again, I'm not saying you have to, just if that's how you feel.
  9. Ok then let me rephrase: Do what you can to make yourself as happy as possible in your circumstances, and if you're 100% convinced you cannot be happy, kill yourself and get your misery over with. If you are that unhappy chances are you wont want to live.
  10. If I say no one knows the answer, then that is right. I think that's a good idea, it's enlightening to have your basic beliefs on life challenged. I used to just believe life was all about happiness and making others happy, but then I realized there is no "point", you do what you choose to with your life.
  11. Even after all the times you've been Rick Rolled? (I'm assuming you have been many times like everyone else).
  12. That's not what I meant but I'm sure he has! :laugh3:
  13. Life is an accident and there is no point since a "point" is a human concept. Basically just live and do what makes you happy and be thankful that this great accident happened.
  14. Enjoy childhood, survive adolescence, get laid, die. Happy. :)
  15. Say "You've been Albied" then punch him in the face, so as not to break tradition
  16. You like the Mets +1 You like Green Day -1 You like Coldplay +1 You're still on the plus side but not by much.
  17. lol it's funny. it's like a Rick Roll without the annoying song.
  18. weird thing is, this actually sounds better mixed and a lot cleaner than the version from the album! :stunned:
  19. Look at this. Coldplay, the Killers, Bono and Gary Barlow all on one song together: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZxCkVH_zxA]YouTube - The Killers & Coldplay - All these thing that I've done feat. Gary Barlow, Bono @ War Child[/ame]
  20. A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay my favorite song, and it's super easy!
