How excited is everyone going to be? Considering this will be my first time buying a full-length release of theirs (I didn't become a fan of CP until after VLV was released), I think I'm going to be pretty psyched. How about everyone else?
  2. The Coldplay bashing never ends, huh? Plus, I watch Red Eye. Too bad he doesn't like CM or Coldplay.
  3. If you were given the opportunity for Coldplay to do a private live session for you, friends, family, etc. what songs would you want them to play? Since this is a game, here are a couple of rules 1) You can list any main release, B-side, live-only song, etc. 2) List up to 10 - 15 songs. (10 at minimum) Now, remember that if this was actually happening, you are in complete control of the song choice. Ready? Begin!
  4. As did I. (Also I couldn't agree more about the Colts and Saints. ;)) Sad, but true, the American music industry is defined by catchy beats and/or loud music. Quite honestly, that isn't music. Music isn't the same electronic drum pattern over and over (and over) again in a song, nor is it necessarily quiet music. Music is soul. And quite frankly, Coldplay fits the quiet category, but more than anything, they fit into the "soul" category. So yes, I would thoroughly enjoy Coldplay performing at Super Bowl 45. (One can hope, eh?):p As for a set list, I think it would be nice to hear: Politik (like another user suggested) Shiver Viva la Vida Violet Hill
  5. This is really good!
  6. I like America and all, but the music industry has gone down the pooper.
  7. Are you serious? They lost to Boom Boom Pow? :stunned: America, why do you pick pop over real music?
  8. I finally got a chance to watch this. It was funny, I have to admit. And I'm not even a Simpsons fan!
  9. Thank you all! :)
  10. Yes, but with only the text.
  11. Does anyone happen to have a 'Viva La Vida' transparent logo? (Words only) I am trying to make a wallpaper, but am running out of luck. Thanks!
  12. Amen! As for worst lyrics, I really can't think of one of the top of my head. I'll have to listen around.
  13. Bashing Coldplay and Paul McCartney? Psh.
  14. :drummer: Indeed. In my eyes, "A Message 2010" should be #1 on the US store. :)
  15. I agree, OP! What's the point in joining a Coldplay site, if all you are going to do is mock them? EDIT: I now see the mocking noonsun was trying to throw out.
  16. I still don't understand why people sign up for a Coldplay site, when they hate the band.
