I think when other bands saw the opportunity to sue a band (who is clearly better than them, by the way), the door was flung open. If any of this was true, it would have been pointed out back then, not ten years later. If anything was plagiarized, it would have to be Clocks. I've seen tons of Clock-sound-a-likes since it came out. In other words: haha! Oh! And I wrote Shiver. Feeling kind, I gave it to Coldplay, because I knew it would worth their while. For reals. :p

"Animals" and "I Ran Away" should have been on A Rush of Blood to the Head. Favorites: Animals, I Ran Away, Crest of Waves, 1.36 and Ladder to the Sun. (Does that count?) Least favorite: One I Love. I like it, but, compared to others, it's just okay.
