What's the weather like today in your town?
Around 84 F, with semi-cloudy skies. Some rain is coming again. I love it.

LP6
I agree, except I see ETIAW working in other shows. It could work.

Apparently 42 has been sound checked the past two nights. And everyone loves 42.

LP6
Exaaaaactly. That is Coldplay in a nutshell. Why do I have a feeling LP6 is going to be really good? Even though their even-numbered albums have been their most popular/best, I have a feeling it will be outstanding. Oddly enough, before the Viva era was even over, I had a feeling LP5 would be somewhat disappointing. Weird.

I understand! I was rather tired when posting all of those replies, so, the angrier side of me came out. My bad. :)

LP6
I fucking love X&Y. Coldplay dared to make an album with a personal touch they hadn't done before, and still haven't beaten. It's their best, if you ask me.

Radiohead
Okay then. As a whole I find it rather boring and drawn-out. EDIT: I am coming off as a dick, now. Sorry. Absolutely.

When did I ever say MX was their best? X&Y has always been my favorite.

Radiohead
Yes, average. Obviously, there are some fantastic tracks. I absolutely adore Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows, but Kid A is too...different from the rest that I find it overrated. Not trying to piss anyone off. Just stating my opinion. ;)

Radiohead
I...just don't think Kid A is that incredible. I've always found myself getting tired of Kid A and Amnesiac - after multiple playthroughs - simply because the drastic change from the typical guitar, bass and drums ensemble. Don't get me wrong, I can totally see its popularity and understand why it is so, but honestly, I just see Kid A as an abstract attempt to widen their sound, a quite-average one at that.

Radiohead
I like how you described it, but I simply cannot get into Kid A like others can, eight months later. I bought it, for the sole reason of me enjoying the album like the rest of fanbase does. I tried and tried, but like I said, eight months later, I do not see why it is praised so highly. Yes, it's a great album and, yes, it's very artistic and dynamic, but I find myself enjoying pre-Kid A Radiohead considerably more.

LP6
If this can be compared to VLV, I would almost bet they have already started working on it, in some way or another.

Advice for college freshman?
As someone who spent my first year at a community college, don't worry about anything. Community college is nothing like 'real' college, per say. It will fly by.

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
I don't know why, but I always thought they were all sitting down for this. Ugh, which performance was it, then? I remember a violin in the background of one of their songs. (God, this was such a great performance.)

Anyone else think X&Y is better than AROBTTH?
This is touching. Swallowed In The Sea is incredible.
