  1. It is sad indeed. He was a legend and will be remembered by all. He was very talented and made a large impact on this world.
  2. I would love to see you guys do Lost or Fix You!!! I sure wish I was there to JAM with you guys. I also play the guitar and sing. I have learned several Coldplay songs.
  3. I love this thread. I relate to many Coldplay songs. In fact it makes me curious what the band members have been through that have left them with parallel feelings to mine. Although I could never write songs as brilliantly as they do, the words in so many of theirs songs take the words from my mouth and speak to my heart. ie. Fix You! When you try your best and you don't succeed (haven't we all been there?) When you get what you want and not what you need (speaks for itself) When you are so tired but you can't sleep (not being able to shut my mind off) Stuck in Reverse (the times that I felt I was going no where) And the tears come streaming down your face When you lose something you can't replace (My daughter 11 years ago) When you love someone and it goes to waste. (My abusive ex husband didn't deserve my love) Could it be worse (Definately not) Although my life is not in that place anymore (Lights had finally guided me home......or atleast to a better place in my life)......This song is a very deep reflection into my past.
  4. That is Adorable. His smile is cute but his laugh is PRICELESS!
  5. I don't think there is any song that I hate.....however there are some that I like more than others and some that I adore. There are several songs that I can personally relate to and have deep meaning for me.
  6. House Funny that I stumbled across this tread........I was just saying the other day how much Gregory House resembles what I imagine Chris Martin will look like when he if older. However....they are both great.....for very different reasons. House is one of my favorite shows.
  7. You know you are addicted to Coldplay when: You have a Coldplay screensaver and desktop on your home and work PC When you know everything about the band members and are guilty of stalking their every move. Not only follow the where-abouts of the band, but follow the Coldplay puppets and collect pictures of them in various cities. Your children also know most of the words to Coldplay songs and they sing with you in the car.
  8. leftrightleftrightleft Free CD I attended the Coldplay Concert here in Calgary on June 17, 2009. I was absolutely inlove with the band before the concert and didn't think it was even possible for me to like them anymore. I was wrong. They put on an amazing show and know how to get the audience completely captivated by their performance. Chris Martin's energy is unbelievable. The free CD they gave away at the end of the concert was also amazing. Every time I play it, it takes me back to when I was at the concert. When the crowd sang the chorus to Viva La Vida at the Calgary concert aswell as on the CD, it sounded so beautiful. No one gets crowd participation like Coldplay. The lighting and special effects were also breathtaking. What a production!! Anyone who is considering going, don't hesitate. It is worth ever penny. I would go again in a heartbeat. Cheers
  9. Another Canadian Here! I have loved Coldplay from the first time I heard them 4+ years ago. So happy to have found this site :)
