Hey all. Ok...I'm in a band, we only have my room (which I couldn't fit a drumkit in) to practice in. I play guitar and keyboards, I have a (fairly rubbish) bassist who seemingly can't even play the Fix You bassline. And a pretty awesome drummer (who is also very into coldplay) I haven't sung with or infront of them yet (which I'm a bit nervous about). I really have no clue as to how I'm gonna teach them their parts to songs. I don't even play bass properly! Now, we do have a place we can book, but we need to know the songs before-hand, don't we? My major problem Is my bassist. Whenever I ask him (very nicely, almost hinting) to get bass lessons, he declines, but he REALLY needs them!!!! He just can't cope with any speed of song. He has this view: If I was to play a song at a set tempo (say 100bpm), he feels trapped in that speed, and wants out. That's a load of ruddy old BOLLOCKS!!!!!! Please, could anyone help me out here? we want to start performing soon, but we heven't even perfected one song yet!:cry:

lol Would it make a difference if it was a "Best Of"? instead of a Greatest Hits? It seems a bit more modest...

I think it's Martin strings he's using. He almost definitely uses them now...

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone could help me Me and my band want to cover LITii. We've got the backing track... I just need tabs...and lots of them! first off, I'll be playing my acoustic, so I'll need chords to the song (I don't think A and F#m are the only chords in the entire song) I'll need bass tabs for my (rubbish) bassist, he can only read tabs... Drum tabs for my (amazing) drummer. I wonder where they could be? And the guitar tabs for Jonny's part. I know I need delay, reverb and high Treble, but is there anything more? Thanks a bunch in advance...:D

Hey all. Yo, I was wondering if anyone had any links to any Miachel Jackson (R.I.P) sheet musics? See, me and a friend are going to give this to our wind band conductor and we need the music to transpose it (for saxophones, trombones etc...). The songs I need are: Beat It Earth Song Thriller I already have Billie Jean. If anyone DOES have links, I don't want pay-per-download sites, or anything which requires any software downloads or the such. I just need (either) pdf files to download (to my dad's pc) or links with download options on the site...? Thanks in advance...

Hey all So, we all love a bit of collecting, but, I'm sure Coldplayers love confetti collecting more than a lot of things. Apart from the well known Butterfly confetti, there was Bat Confetti released exclusively for the Halloween gig at Washington D.C. Now, does anyone actualy have any? It'd be interesting to hear people's stories about it.

I sure hope so too, but there's a massive chance that any of the demos (or any other new songs we've heard) won't be on the next album considering that they were origionaly written for viva.

What if you get the instrumental and remove some tracks (whatever hapens like drums or bass etc...) tgen keep doing that until only the dulcimer is left...?

It's pretty good. But, I thought It was going to be the actual dulcimer track, is there any possibility of that instrumental?
