Did people frown upon it & if so, do they still? And was there ever any issues with either of you (you or your b/f) about age..like at the start did either of you care, maybe because your family or friends might of, or how it would be looked upon? Sorry if this is too personal I'm just really curious now that there is actually somewhere here in that situation...because I think age difference is perfectly fine. :D

Haha nah, not really. I'm 17 dating a 19 year old and I dont see a problem with it. I was just curious what everyone else thought of it, because for me I've always been attracted to older guys. Aside from huge age differences like an 18 year old and a 42 year old (lol), I honestly dont see a problem with it. I think it has more to do with the mental age of both people, and you have to really be sure of what each person wants out of it.

If that's right, then you could date someone who's 15. :P

It seems age difference is either a big issue to someone or not an issue at all. And when I say age difference I mean as in relationships. So my question is; how much is too much? I guess it depends on your age, because obviously it's more acceptable for a 24 year old to be dating a 29 year old, but what if it was say, a 16 year old dating a 21 year old? Would you think that was acceptable? I mean, afterall it would be the same age difference (5 years) Where do you think the line should be drawn in age difference, especially with younger people?

Kirsten I know we don't even know each other but from what I've seen over the past year or so here is that you are an AWESOME girl and you're going to have the love from your family and friends wherever you go, whether it's with Richard or not. I know what it feels like to be hurt, especially by a guy and I'm telling you know, whether he admits it or not Richard is hurting too and probably missing you like crazy. From going to being so in love, to just nothing at all can really mess up people minds, and I'm guessing right now all Richard is is really confused. Its obvious he isnt sure about anything at the moment and I know you want to be there for him and try to tell him whats good and bad for him at all that, but sometimes when your that confused about things in your life, sometimes the people closest to them cant even get through to him. This Hazel girl is obviously a low-life, and feels threatened by you because she knows how much you mean to Richard. If she ever says anything that hurts you, dont give her a reason to keep doing it by showing her its affecting you. That's all she's trying to do, get a reaction from you. Maybe you could talk to some of his mates that also know Hazel and try to make them talk to Richard, cos if he's gonna listen to anyone it'll be his closest mates. As for know just surround yourself with your mates and know that everything will come through for someone as good hearted as you. Try to keep smiling baby girl, everything happens for a reason and you'll soon find your life back on track. :kiss:

I'm so bummed! I found out the acts playing at Spelndour in the Grass (a music festival) this year and they include QOTSA, Bloc Party and Interpol. BUT my problem is that the festival is in Byron Bay which is in NSW...and I live in Melbourne and don't have any money so I'll be watching it from home. :bigcry:
