Ive heard a clip of another song, and it sounds amazing. I couldn't hear HLH very well though.I was wondering if I could handle waiting for the festival to hear these songs, but dnt think I can! :P

Yea hopefully it will change for you. Its grown on me since yesterday:D yesterday was just a weird day for me, I was afraid of the new direction they r headed. But then I thought...its colplay! They haven't let me down yet! Well Its happened before that I dnt immediately love a song, believe it or not I didn't like politik right away:stunned: but I can't even express how much I love that song now! So I think its also being on this forum that may impact how u feel about the song. There's so many negative comments picking away at the song. and that does affect how u feel about the song. That's why im glad this section was made to make me see its alright, the song is good. (Well at least there are people that think it) and that its ok to like it :) Sorryfor the long post. P.s its ok to only like it and not love it. You'll enjoy it more if you aren't forcing it and you listen to it because you like it. Its not a requirement to love every single song :P

Oh yea that happened to me to. I only thought it was an ok song. But yesterday I realised that it is a fun song,and it grew on me. Also I was resistant to it because it was so pop. But just dnt force yourself to like it cuz it might end up having the oppisite effect. Just give it a break and then listen to it again after a little bit. Also have you seen the live video of it? Its pretty good. And that made me give the song another chance :D Besides some coldplay songs need to grow on you before u love them. Has that not happend to u before? Its happened to me :P

I agree.Not a bad idea to leave and get a break from this :) It seems its a disease for me though, I can't get away! :lol: ill try or just ignore negative threads.

Cool. Its happened. The song grew on me and I like it :D I just accept it for what it is, a fun song! And im super excited for the album! Especially after hearing clips of the new songs :D

I just bought my airplane tickets to go to chicago for Lolla! :dance: and I broke the news to my mom. Surprisingly she took it well... she was mad but then let it go. It helped that my sis and I lied and said we got one ticket for $300 and the other free cuz we got frequent flyer discount hahaha. I feel guilty for lying but just shows what ill do for coldplay :P

Yea there have been occasions where ppl are less than respectful and civil.not necessarily talking about this whole deal about the new song, but with other topics as well. Anyways my whole point is that maybe we should keep in mind that we gotta respect each other more :) which im sure everyone can agree is a good thing right?

Well first of all I highly doubt coldplay fans are following them for their looks, even if they r handsome :P we just see that as an added bonus :lol: But still there is no need to attack people for their opinions if it wont change what they think. Its just satisfying your need to get your anger and annoyance out :\ its all about just being respectful dnt you think?

So what? Even if that's the case. It their choice to follow the band for that reason. Its still a matter of opinion of what matters to them :) You can criticise them all you want but it wont change how they think :P

True :) I knew I had to give the song a chance and now that I have I can appreciate it. Im still in the process of liking it more though :) Aww I always loved LIJ. I think I will like this song more live, cuz it is fun. I was resisting to liking it because I didn't want coldplay to be more pop, but now that I've just gotten over that, im liking it more. Besides we dnt know if this is the pop song on the album and the rest are more alternative :D and ys Muse would also be so awesome! (Im buying my airplane tickets right at this moment :P)

True. I am guilty of that but lesson learned from me. Cuz I realized I gotta make up my mind about how I feel about a song first. I did feel the way I felt in my posts at the time though. I think I have a right to change my mind in any case. Even if I were to totally trash the song and say I hated it (which I didn't) I would like to feel that I can change my mind about it an decide to totally love it :P

My positive comment is that im liking it more! and everytime I hear it, my feet start wanting to tap the beat :P and im looking forward to it in concert. Not crazy about the wa wa waterfall part but I do love the guitar a lot :D

I dnt know, but I do like it :P and all I want to do is give it a chance because I've had other songs that I wasn't crazy about before, but after I gave them a chance I ended up loving them. Im still a little undecided on this new song. I switch from loving it to only liking it. So im just listening to the song and see what happens :)

That's funny u used that as an example. That was me, someone told me that I would love anything they did even if they did a song burping :lol: I still think it would be an interesting song to hear! And I can't imagine the sing along for that :P
