i really do LOVE them! i dont personally know them, but i had never wanted to meet a band so much as i do with coldplay, i KNOW i would love them if i got the chance to meet them. i just need that opportunity!!

i wish i had that many! i only have like 8 or something =( where i was standing only a few that the wind carried would fly towards me..a couple i even had to fight grown men for it...well not literally fight but ipractically grabbed it from his hand.lol (hey i wasnt there to make friends w people that didnt know the lyrics to all the songs!) oh yea my random thought... today i almost got run over cuz when i went to pick up my paycheck at work i saw this guy that looked a lot like chris and i was thinking "omg what if its chris' brother or something?! which means that chris is somewhere near by!" since i live near San Francisco and chris is doing that gig, i thought it could definitely be possible! anyways i was crossing the parking lot and i was kind of out of it thinking of chris, when my mom called me and i turn around without looking out for cars and i almost got run-over... very long random coldplay thought...sorry=)

well isnt there a saying that goes something like "copying is the best form of flattery"? Still... she looks lame trying to copy coldplay, and it doesnt matter too much since everyone will be thinking of coldplay when they hear the song instead of thinking of her, so its bad for her...not so much for coldplay

yea coldplay has definitely a very special place in my heart that no other band can fill(sorry other favorite band) especially after that AMAZING concert!!

i would love to have it! i work that day=( ill be there with chris in spirit :cry: eventhough id wish to be there in person!

ok so i feel out of place at the linkin park forum right now, i love linkin park but i miss coldplaying...ill just come back now:escaping3:

so i have now made a conscious decision to finally take control of my addiction and try to hear more of other music. well im actually going back to my other favorite band for a while. (linkin park.) it makes me sad though, im used to the forum here and everything. well ill still be here for sure, i cant last more than a day without something coldplay related. coldplay is still my favorite band of all time nothing will change that=)

i REALLY wish i could go. but im still hoping for the mexico concert so i cant spend any money. its still so exciting that he'll be in the area! maybe i can go find him.=)

this made me look back to the transition of AROBTTH to X&Y. i thought coldplay did just piano stuff nice and soft, then x&y hit me with all of the amazing guitars, i was like wow this isnt the coldplay i first heard! but it was in a good way. the change of x&y to viva was different , it took me a while to warm up to it. so im wondering how the next transition will be....:thinking:

yea im definitely addicted to my ipod, as i found out the other day that i couldnt find my earphones. i was like "noooooooo!! damn it i have my ipod but no earphones this is torture!" i was very grumpy(withdrawl symptom) so i went to sleep it was during a car drive and i couldnt stand the music on the radio! it wasnt coldplay! i have taken A coldplay break but it was after x&y when i didnt have as many coldplay songs as i do now. now i take breaks off CERTAIN coldplay songs not coldplay themselves. i have not listened to lovers in japan for over 2 months, I overplayed it. so im gonna go back to it soon. oh and politik too. i have plenty songs to keep me going for a long time especially with all their b-sides. also what ill do is when im listening to a song ill focus on different parts of it, sometimes ill focus on chris's wonderful voice other times ill listen to jhonny's guitar etc.. im also listening to muse, and a variety of others here and there.

my art teacher puts on that Pandora online radio thing when we draw, so today i got to hear "swallowed in the sea" "green eyes"! "the scientist" it was awesome my friend from art class who also likes coldplay started to sing the song "green eyes" out loud and i joined her in singing "the scientist". people were looking at us but it was great and my drawing came out better because of it.=) then we started talking about other amazing coldplay songs. not a bad day...

my friends dont care about them. and i have a couple of friends who really like them but they dont LOVE them like i do. one of them said "sorry, i like coldplay but i love one republic more" so i was like its ok i dont care much about one republic.lol i wish i had a friend who was as obsessed with coldplay as i am it would be so much fun.

i was watching the discovery channel watching about snake bites and stuff(really gross!!) so then i changed the channel to palladia cuz it was getting to gross to watch. when i changed it it was storytellers and it was coldplay! it was right at the end of clocks i was like damn you discovery channel i missed the coldplay storytellers! at least i got to hear fix you.

completely agree. it makes me depressed to think that i missed the chance to go to a coldplay concert like it was in the earlier days. i had waited since i was 12 to go to a coldplay concert. my mom never let me cuz she said i was too young =( then finally when i was 18 (going to be 19) i got the chance to go to my first coldplay concert, and i thought it was gonna be different. i imagined it like in the live 2003 dvd. hundreds of true fans singing along to coldplay. the way it should be! but the one i went to there was a bunch of weirdos who didnt know the words to many of the songs and didnt have much energy for the show. all they did was drink beer and bob their heads. and then some idiot was getting high somewhere behind me! i was like what the hell IS this??? i was very sad because it made me realize i was among a bunch of viva bandwagon fans. those seats could have been for a more dedicated fan. of course i still had the best time of my life. even though i hated all those losers that were closer to the b-stage than i was!!:angry:

my cousin who is in middle school has to write a book for algebra explaining how to solve some equations. the book needs to have a theme. well she knows how much i love coldplay and i got her crazy over "white shadows" so she said i could help her do a coldplay themed book. trying to get some ideas right now.=) ill be getting stuff from x&y ...lol

Thank you everyone for your comments on my drawing! it makes me feel a lot better for when i turn it in tomorrow. ill be graded on that and a few other drawings. theres a couple more coldplay drawings....:rolleyes: it did take me a whole day to draw but i actually enjoyed every minute of it.:)

i had given coldplay a very long break before viva la vida, now i have nonstop listened to them since viva came out. i occasionally listen to others like Muse though. ill plan to give them a break but i so far havent had the strength to listen to other stuff. especially since i have finally downloaded the safety e.p!
