360°-Stage for the European Stadium Shows
I wonder if it's the same for the Canadian shows. I've noticed that both the Toronto and the Montreal shows are now selling seats in the sections behind the stage...

Is it now 'cool' to like Coldplay?
:laugh3: I think you have it right with that statement. ^

2012 North America Tour announced!
I keep checking the website for any updated tour dates. Didn't Anchorman or someone say there'd be more announcements in early 2012? January is almost over... I am waiting to hear if they're playing the festival in Moncton, NB, Canada. Maybe it was their website that said they'd announce in early 2012. Arrggghhh, I hate waiting! :)

Most random place you've heard a CP song?
I heard Princess of China yesterday in my local fitness gym, it was weird and great all at the same time.

2012 tour date rumours (please post dates for ALL countries in here)
I was only planning on attending Tuesday's concert, so we fly out on Monday. However, I was able to get lower bowl seats for Monday, and so am going to try and sell the other tickets as soon as they show up in the mail! If the rumours are right it sounds like Coldplay would play the 21st. If you drive home right after the concert you would be okay. Or depending on when your flight is on the 22nd you could get up really early in Moncton and get home in time for the airport. I won't be too upset about getting to see them twice though. :D Can't wait for the official announcement!

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
Isn't it usually around three songs for the X/B stage? I am hoping for xylobands as well! I guess we'll have to wait until the first North American show to see what they do??

2012 tour date rumours (please post dates for ALL countries in here)
Oh this will be so great if it's true! Can't wait to find out for sure. Too bad I've already spent so much money to go see them in Toronto when I only live 2 hours from Moncton!

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
When you go on Tickemaster and look at the July 24th show (only tried that day, not both) you can click on each section to zoom in and see available seats. When you click and zoom in on Centre Floor it shows the X stage!!!! Finally confirmation.

2012 North America Tour announced!
I'm not sure why it is working now and not before when the tickets first went on sale. When tickets were first on sale it just asked me how many I wanted and whether I wanted floor, lower bowl, etc. And there was a colourful map of the arena that just zoomed in and out when I clicked on it. But now when I go on to the same show it has a blue/grey map of the arena, and when I click on that picture it zooms in and shows circles as seats. The grey ones are not available, and the dark blue ones I can click on and purchase. Maybe they have to get down to a certain number of seats left before this option is available? Not sure. If you want to see what I mean, you can go the Toronto shows on Ticketmaster. I didn't check to see if any other shows were doing the same thing...

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
I just went on ticketmaster for a little look, and they are now showing exactly what seats are available at this time in each section. I saw two seats in section 118, they are in the very back row, but 8 seats apart. I bought them because I can't give up the chance to sit in that section over section 308 (which I have now for that night). I am just really hoping that the Coldplay fans in between mine and my daughter's seat will have a heart and each move down one so we can sit together. What do you think...is it likely I can convince 8 people to move? Or maybe the person on either side of our seats will be by themselves and willing to move. It was worth it to try though.....I am hopeful!

2012 North America Tour announced!
How likely do you think people would be to move down one from their assigned seats? I noticed today on tickemaster that my venue is now showing the actual seats that are available. There are two seats available in the same row, but 9 seats apart. I am taking my 14 year old daughter with me and know she wouldn't enjoy being that far away from me. But I thought if I bought them maybe everyone would move down one for us to sit together....what do you think the chances are? EDIT: aaa....I just bought them. I couldn't give up the chance to have seats in section 118. The seats I already have for that night are in section 308! I'm off to post them on ebay.

Yeah I don't think the TO set up on Ticketmaster is correct. If you look at this link http://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/11004787E25FF3B3?artistid=806431&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60 it's another Canadian show, but with the X stage.

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
I was just reading through the Oracle and they pretty much confirm there will be an X stage: Q. Greetings from BC! I'm finally getting to go to a Coldplay concert in April and I'm so excited! I was wondering if they will be doing an acoustic part on the c-stage for this tour like they did before? Thanks so much! The Oracle replies: The C stage - now dubbed the X stage given its shape - is pretty much a permanent fixture these days so yes, I'd say it's pretty certain they will continue to have an acoustic set at the end of the runway to get closer to the crowd and have that more intimate moment. So that is pretty great news for those on the floor in the further back rows...they'll be closer to the X stage. I know there were some questions on this thread as to would they or wouldn't they. I was only able to get seats in row 10 of section 310, so I hope they are not too bad...

2012 North America Tour announced!
It was a terrible experience, without a great result...I had no problems getting great tickets when they came to Toronto in 2009. But this time was a different story. I had two computers on the go trying to get tickets and right at the start of the sale the "best available" was giving me way in the back of the arena! Both of my computers also decided to stop working 5 minutes into the sale! That was frustrating. I was only able to get seats closer in the 300s. I haven't seen too many people on here that got great seats and I wonder where they all went!?

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
I have two not-so-good tickets in section 308 for the first night that I need to sell. The worst part is I'm in Halifax so I don't really know how to go about selling them. The only thing I can think of is do a meet up the day of the first concert as I'll be flying to TO the day before the second concert (which I am attending).

I don't think you got blocked out, I can't find anything available either. Like you I keep checking every couple of days to see if anything new has been added. I could find one seat if I searched for only one, but no two together so I think they're both sold out.

2012 Ticket Exchange **Updated List in First Post** (EXCHANGE OR FACE VALUE OFFERS ONLY)
I have tickets for the Toronto show on July 23rd Section 308, Row 8. I managed to get slightly closer on the second show and can't afford to go to both.

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
I don't see the Globe & Mail presale either. Currently if I try and get two regular seats at either of the dates it is showing nothing available. The best I was able to get this morning was section 310 for Tuesday. I had gotten 308 for Monday during the presale. I'll be selling the Monday ones if anyone is interested. SO dissapointed I was not able to find anything on the floor or lower bowl without paying $275 or $425. :(

There was a household ticket limit o four tickets for the Amex presale. Will this be the same for the general sale?

[23-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada
eeek, I'm excited about the second shows! But now I'm worried that if I get better seats I won't be able to sell the ones I have in section 308. I'm going to try for something closer though, how can I not?

[26-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Just received an email from evenko.ca saying the evenko presale is Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Not sure if it will be similar seats as what was offered by the Amex presale.

Also, I should have read the fine print BEFORE I bought my tickets....I had read here somewhere that you could refund your tickets up to one week later. So I bought some thinking I could refund if I get better seats on Saturday. BUT the fine print says "at participating venues" and when I clicked that link the ACC was not listed. Only the Molson Ampitheatre. So hopefully I get better seats on Saturday and can sell the ones I got in section 308. If not, at least I will be there! :)
