I did end up buying some not great seats in section 308 just to ensure I have tickets for this show. But I am going to try for better on Saturday.

Also, I hope the program works a bit better on Saturday...but probably not. It was well after 10:00 before I got anything. When I hit refresh at 10:00 all that changed was the VIP information. Several minutes later I finally got the option to buy tickets, and at that time it was telling me nothing available!

I think I will wait until the general sale....all these presale tickets are quite far away from the stage. Surely I'll get something better on Saturday? I will take my chances and buy the first thing I get on Saturday.

I think I will wait 'til the general sale as the tickets I am getting are not satisfactory. I will try my luck on Saturday and if I get anything better than today's I will buy it right away.

I was thinking about trying to use my regular Amex card to get the preferred seating and see what happens, but in the meantime I don't want to miss out on the other seats. I can just see getting all the way to the part where I have to pay with my card and a message saying it's not the correct card for preferred seats coming up.

I'm not sure which seats you are referring to exactly. When I was looking at the American shows I acted like I was going to buy presale by clicking all the right buttons, and only things I found on the floor were far back. On the VIP package for Montreal it states you will get a seat in the first ten rows. Does that help?

Yes, it does appear to be AmEx only as it comes up when I click on the Amex presale button. If I was going by myself I might consider the second package, but I am taking my daughter as well. So there's no way. I'm trying to decide between the Montreal or Toronto show. I am using airmiles for the hotel and flight, so Montreal is a bit cheaper, but what it will likely come down to is where I can get the best seats. I plan on using two work computers to try each venue and see what I get. I'm not real confident on the kinds of seats available through the presale. I did some sleuthing on the american shows and all the presale seem to be row 20 or ruther. However, since the vip package is up to row 10, that doesn't leave many rows on the floor for the general sale.

I feel like waiting for the past two years for them to come back has been long enough....I don't have any more patience. :\

So does this mean you have to buy a VIP ticket at $425 in order to get in the first ten rows?! Do you think there will be other tickets available in the front rows if you don't buy VIP? From the other AmEx presales I saw it seems like the seats are further back from the stage. I will try and see what they have tomorrow, but I think I might have a chance at better seats waiting until Saturday. What to do, what to do?!

The password for the preferred seating is the phone number on the back of your AmEx card.

I would guess yes, but your best bet is to call AmEx and ask what code you need to buy out of country. When I called they gave me a promocode and said it works for all shows all the time, so likely it would be the same in your case. You could get the code now and be prepared for the TO presale. Also, when I tried to buy the tickets with just filling out the presale portion it gave me tickets in the back of the arena, but when I went back and filled in the AmEx reserved seating with the promo code it gave me floor seats.

oh, it appears that since I'm in Canada, I need a special code to buy in the US. Usually the phone number works, unless you are trying from out of country. I guess I have to call them...

I am trying to buy tickets on the Amex presale for Tampa, and it is asking me for a password or promo code. I do have an American Express card, but no such promo or password. HELP! Does anyone know where to find these?

Pardon mon anglais....I also sent an email to Oracle asking about the presale, and about GA tickets. I am quite positive that on the first day I clicked the Amex presale link that Montreal WAS listed on that link, and not Toronto, and now neither are on. I'm sure I didn't imagine it...if anyone hears anything please keep us posted. :)

Does anyone know anything about how the American Express pre-sale works? Are there only certain seats usually available for these types of sales? I want GA, but I don't know if they will sell those tickets at this pre-sale. However, I'm also worried if I don't buy during the presale I might not get anything during the regular sale as tickets go so fast and it all depends on how fast my computer will be that day.

I got the email with the file to download. but I can't open any of the files, my computer tells me they are all corrupt. : ( Will try again...

I just heard this remix on the radio for the first time; not too crazy about it. The local stations here do not play much Coldplay, so I got excited to hear the start of Paradise, then realized it was a remix. Very disappointing because I quite like the original and thought that's what I'd be hearing on the radio. If they're not going to play the original song on the radio I don't think they should play remixes. Just my opinion.

Oh, I presumed he was talking about another song altogether different from PoC. That he wrote and Rihanna performed all by herself. Now it makes sense though...I must have misread the article. Thanks folks! :)

I have been wondering about this since reading it in an article somewhere. I can't remember which article, but when asked about why he picked Rihanna to duet with over Beyonce or someone else. Chris mentioned that he had written a song for Beyonce and her managmenet didn't use it, but he wrote one for Rihanna and she did use it. After hearing the cover of We Found Love I wondered if it was that one. Any ideas?

I was trying to figure out when they might announce the Canadian part of their tour. And from what I can gather looking at this board, it seems that they announced the Toronto tour in February of 2009 and the concert there was held in July....so I'm guessing on an early new year announcement this time as well.

agh, I'm so frustrated I forgot to tape this show..I thought it was after the Saturday Night Live performance! I went to latenightwithjimmyfallon.com and was able to watch the worm race under the blog portion. some lucky people will be able to watch the full epsidoe under their videos tab. It must just be the States though because it said the video was not available in my area. :( I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone puts it on youtube.
