So very exciting. At first when all the talk started about "maybe we're going to be in a video" I thought no-way. Everyone was being silly, but now to know it really happened! That's so awesome for you guys. I think it's great recognition for the coldplaying fans to get to be in a video of your favourite band. What could be better? I guess when the video is out maybe you'll be allowed to tell us more?

I like that they are giving us little tidbits of information while we wait patiently (or not so patiently) for the next album. There was no news for so long, and now there's tons of it!

I am really excited about the new song too! And I didn't notice the extra letters until someone else mentioned it. But I do wonder if it has something to do with the video since those letters and ?? are around the part he scribbled out about the video. Hmmmm. I also had the thought about it having to do with the LP5 name because of the clues that it might start with an M and be two words. Why do they like to play with our heads??? :)

Although Coldplaying isn't the "official" fan club. It sure is the best as far as I'm concerned. It's my go-to spot for all things Coldplay. Plus it was through this website that I was able to get GA tickets in 2009 and I am currently awaiting my copy of LRLRL that I forgot to pick up at said concert. This website and the people who use it rock! :)

It's quite cold and we are getting our first snowfall of the season. It's actually collecting on the ground! Kids are excited.

So...any news on if they played or not? I taped the show but didn't stay up to watch it. But I couldn't find anything online that suggests that they performed.

I was surprised at how well she sang on the Country Music Awards and can't wait to see her on Glee. I love that show! I may have to go see her new movie just so I can see/hear her sing the song Chris wrote. I'm not much into country music, but it will be interesting to hear what a country song written by Chris martin sounds like.

I don't check the website every day, so I was glad I did today to see that. I agree with everyone that it doesn't seem like a whole years has passed already! I am ready for that new album!

I too would LOVE a copy. I attended in Toronto, but if you can believe this I forgot about them and exited out a side door. Then KICKED myself when I remembered halfway down the street! I was sick about it. Of course I downloaded the album, but it's not the same. I was there and could have had one if not for my own stupidity. I have one that I'm sure you'll know. I was reading a book and the person said "start as you mean to go on", and I know it's a Coldplay song, but not sure which one. I thought I could look through all the lyrics, or just ask someone on here. It would be faster. Then I found this thread...

The music is from the trailer for a new documentary about how the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) was formed. It was such a shock to hear it, I was humming along and thought whoa, wait a minute, that's Coldplay!

Ah yes, you are right. I had thought about that one. I had started to go through all the songs on my computer listening to them but thought asking on here would be faster. I just wonder if they got permission to use that song. I would think they'd have to, but it seems such an odd pairing. Coldplay and bull riding. But they're two of my favourite things so I was happy to hear the song. Thanks for helping me out!

I feel like a bad Coldplay fan not being able to figure this song out. I think it is the Scientist, but the video is so choppy I can't tell. I am a fan of the sport of Bull Riding and went on the website thisisnotarodeo.com to check out the trailer for a dvd they have. And quite near the end the background music is definitely a Coldplay song, but it doesn't get to the part where there are words and it's been driving me crazy trying to figure it out. "love over this" is popping into my head, but what is the song?? Thanks for any help for those of you who can put up with watching the video if you're not into the sport!
