In the first pic of her and Mark together I find Gwyneth really looks like her mom!

I was just on HMV.ca and when I searched for Mylo Xyloto it said there is a cd/t-shirt combo you can purchase. Any ideas what this shirt might look like? I just enquired at my local HMV and they said they won't be ordering any of the combos. :( But I'm very interested to know what this shirt is...

I went into a bar/restaurant today and they were playing ETIAW and the best part is it's my birthday! So we were going for birthday dinner and I got greeted by Coldplay. :)

I picked #10 because I like how it has the running many type effect on the butterfly. #9 is my second choice..wasn't sure if I could pick more than one. But if we had trouble with #10 I would pick #9.

I had a strange Coldplay dream a few nights ago. They were playing at a local bar on the outside patio, but no one knew about it as it hadn't been announced anywhere. I just happened to be walking by and I saw the guys setting up. i was so excited to see them and I was trying to tape the whole thing with my camera so I could put it on Coldplaying.com. I was almost more excited to have some news that no one else on the website knew about than the fact I was watching them. How weird is that? And at the break Chris came over and asked why I was filming so much and I told him "you know Coldplaying.com? I'm doing it for that" and he thought it was super. So I ran outside and was yelling telling everyone I saw "Coldplay is playing inside". It was such a nice feeling to wake up to, but said that it wasn't real.

I'm a fan of all of them. :)

Just wondering if these shirts were to become available online, would we be able to put our username instead of member on them? I love the third one!

I will do start to finish, mostly because that's how they made the album. I figure that's the order they want you to listen to them. Since it's on sale during a week day I will probably run out on my lunch hour and buy it. Then play it through my computer using earphones. The sound won't be that great, but I won't be able to wait. Then I'll play it really loudly in my car while I drive home after work. And then I'll put it in my Bose stereo when I get home and tell my husband and kids to be quiet while I listen to it again. LOL

I kind of like that they are using a Coldplay song because I love when their music pops up unexpectedly, and it shows how far reaching their music is. However, I am not a fan of how the song sounds in this show. I liked the tv show the first season, but I've sort of lost interest in it. I will watch this episode to see how the whole song turns out...but it doesn't look promising. Except maybe the part where they seem to all be singing it together on stage...that might give me goosebumps.

Awesome job everyone! I've always thought this was the best site ever, so I'm glad to see it get the recognition it deserves!

Thanks for sharing this! I get that channel and will be keeping my eye out for sure...this is the first I've heard of it. I have no idea how to get a show from my tv onto the computer, so as much as I'd LOVE to tape it and share, I don't know how I'd do it. Hopefully they'll say something during the interview about coming back to Toronto during their tour.

I agree that the prospect of another new Coldplay song is exciting. Can't wait for Monday to find out for sure. I have enjoyed the other soundtracks, and am a bit ashamed to say, I like the movies too. The books were good, so I like to see them come alive on screen. I'm not saying they're the best movies ever, but I do own them. :embarrassed:

I noticed no one had answered your questions yet, and while I'm no expert (only been to one Coldplay concert) these are my opinions on some of your questions: 1 & 2) I think "the best place to stand" is really a preference. If you like to be able to see the whole stage at once and take it all in, then right up front is not for you. If you like to be super close and see much more detail/features of the guys, then up front is great. I personally prefer to stand off to the side ofChris' mic. That way I can still see Will and the others, and it's usually where Chris sits to play the piano. 3 & 4) In my (one) experience, there was no need to camp overnight to get up front. The concert I went to I was about 4 hours early and was able to get near the front with only two people between me and the stage. Next time I will probably try for six hours 5 & 6) I don't really have an answer for these ones 7) My vote is to not drink. The experience is so awesome as it is...plus if you drink you'll be more likely to have to use the restroom 8) Yes, people do run for the front of the stage 9 & 10) I found that when waiting in line people are usually good about keeping your spot...especially if you make friends with the people beside you. Or if you go with someone to line up. As far as when you're inside.... I was never sure on this one. I decided to just not leave my spot for the whole show. 11) I am not very creative...so can't help with ideas. But it is pretty neat when the band does acknowledge something you made. That happened at the concert I went to. Have a fun and great experience!

After watching the Much Music Live in Toronto I really enjoyed that version of Paradise better than the studio recording. I don't think anything compares to the experience of hearing a Coldplay song live for sure. Most times I don't like the live recording better if I'm not watching it in person, but for this performance I did like it better than the studio version.

I just watched the show on tv last night, and wow, am I jealous of you guys...in a nice way though. :) I can't wait to see them live again...I know there's nothing quite like that feeling. I really liked how they rocked out at the end of GPASUYF. And Paradise - made me fall in love with the song all over again. I hope they don't wait too long after the release of MX to announce their North American tour dates...or more specifically Toronto. LOL

I sure hope so! I've been saving all my airmiles to come to Toronto. I wondered if I should use them and get to the Much Music show. I was torn because I don't want to miss it if they're not coming here on MX tour. However, I don't want to go see a 1 hour show when I could come see a whole concert. They did say they would see us in a few years at the end of the '09 concert. So I'm hopeful that TO will be on their NA tour schedule.

And Canada too...will it download in Canada? Once someone finds out if it works outside UK please let us know. :)

I just saw this on Coldplay's website: "We have five pairs of tickets to give away to Coldplay.com readers. If you'd like to win a pair, then click here and enter your details before 9am (Toronto time) tomorrow, Thur 15 Sept. You must be over 14 to enter, and the prize consists just of tickets (not travel or accommodation). " Since it's only tickets it doesn't help me out much. :( But I thought I'd share in case someone wasn't able to get wristbands today. I'll have to deal with just watching the show on tv.

Well, if you really mean it I will remind you. :) I also think I'll wait and buy the cd from the store. I'd rather give the money right to Coldplay, but I'd also much rather be able to listen to the whole cd on the 24th then wait a week or more!

I have a question that I think should go in this thread....I didn't want to start a new one just for this. But I am wondering what are the pros of pre-ordering just the cd over waiting to buy it in my local store? Do you get anything extra or different? I would like to preorder, but then it will take so long to get here. I could probably have my hands on the cd sooner if I walked to my store and bought it on October 24th. I would LOVE to order the limited edition, but I am trying to curtail my spending habits. Though I would really love some stickers and stencils. :\

Wish I lived in TO right now. I'd so go down to Much to try and get a wristband. I like the comment "free Coldplay doesn't happen very often". So true!

The more I listen the more I like it, and I already liked it the first time I heard it. And my 7 year old just heard it and said "Oh, I like that, it's pretty. It's Coldplay isn't it?" So she likes it too on first listen.

Everyone has their own opinion and every right to it. I for one really like the song. At the start I wasn't so sure, but once it picked up I got into it. I don't think I'd like a Coldplay song just because it was put out by them. But I do like getting to hear new stuff from them. It's still Coldplay after all and still Chris Martin's voice. I can't wait for the whole album.
