  1. Omg we totally went out of topic for majority of this thread. :freak:
  2. So, I study English Literature. And I don't write good answers. Yeah, I got an A- this round of exams, but I think my teacher was being really fucking kind, and my answers must have sucked because I don't think it's that amazing either. Teacher read out my friend's answers and gosh, he writes well. The thing is, I don't know how to expand my answers. I need to be more specific (which I also lack in Science subjects) and write in a more... Debate style manner? Can y'all help me by giving me bits of advice on how to approach the question, pleaseeeeeee? P.S. : This is NOT creative writing. It's about answering the questions in an essay form.
  3. Okay. I see your point, and I do agree with it. I hope that you see that all I'm trying to say is stated in my previous post before this.
  4. Damn it, all I'm trying to say is that I don't think they should be stereotypically labeled as bad people.
  5. It's not that I don't care about the things that happened or happens, it's that I don't think Muslims should be stereotypically judged as 'bad people believing a bad religion' all because of that. You can't base everything on one thing or a few things. I don't know about men. And I do disagree, but it's the law for the Muslims. We may look at it as unfair and so on, but it's their faith and if you don't approve of it, don't believe it then. How do we know that they don't speak up? What say do they have? Can they control what everyone of the same faith do? And before you call me nonchalant again, I do think that that act is terrible. There are fanatics, no doubt, and they may do terrible things that spoil the name of their religion, doesn't mean everyone else of the same faith agrees to what they do. Then again, we're entitled to our own opinions.
  6. Hear da doctor! :awesome: What do endorphins do?
  7. Lulz, when a person is already in pain, it takes a lot of energy to think about his/her love ones. Though I think we can take in context of our parents who have body aches yet they would still bring us up and prepare our dinner etc. because they love us.
  8. I think China has a history of being controlling. Mao Zedong? But yes, people shouldn't be controlled and freedom of speech and opinion must be there to a certain extend. Lulz, in my opinion, my country keeps things rather controlled too. There are many things we don't dare voice out for fear of being locked behind bars. /out of topic
  9. *Googles* (Not familiar with terms) Hmm, I should suggest to my mum. It reminds me of Chrysanthemum. Thanks for the advice! :wacky:
  10. I have cramps. And pain-killers don't work. WTF.
  11. The world might end by then. Lulz.
  12. :shrug: We are all responsible for each other, I suppose.
  13. OMGOMGOMGOMG :freak::bomb::bomb: :dance::dance: I can't wait for the full report! AND PICTURES. :drunk: Ah you lucky girl <3

  16. The country's population is huge, I suppose it's hard controlling that lot. ... Chinese people are creepy.
  17. Inventive :laugh3::laugh3:
  18. I don't know the religion enough, but the way things are ruled here seems fine. Yeah, I've heard of that a Muslim woman was supposed to get caned for drinking beer, but in the end she was only sentenced to community service. Muslims are quite nice people in general, not all of them are bad.
  19. Chris looks so blank in that picture. I think they have fun too, just not in the fangirling way.
