I was just looking through the Alternative album chart on iTunes and it makes me really happy that all 5 albums are in the top 15 :D

That happened with me, I think they sounded something like 'hnnng' and 'unnnf' and 'asdfghjkl;' and gasping for breath :laugh3: Oh yeah, it's not usually considered normal, is it? :inquisitive: It's just become a way of life for me :lol: My mum confiscated my iPod the other day because I was spending too much time listening to music and not enough revising for exams, and I ended up literally begging to have it back because I needed Coldplay to get me to sleep And also when you type in 'C' on the search bar and it instantly comes up with coldplay.com or coldplaying.com!!! Finally, YKYATC when all of the above apply to you! :P

Well I technically don't yet... I might be taking out a 'loan' from my mother :laugh3: Well that's exactly what has made me think about it, I've just started a new part time job and so I'll hopefully have some money to spare! Fingers crossed!

When you already saw them in December but after hearing the livestream you know you just have to go and see them again. So I'm now looking up tickets and flights and hotels for next week in Manchester, and am pretty certain I'm willing to spend £500 that includes some of the money I just got for my birthday... That, I think, might be able to come under the category of true dedication :P

RCT: Last night's gig was incredible! Listening to the livestream and hearing the crowd as well meant that even though I was just rocking out in my kitchen, if I closed my eyes I could feel like I was there! And singing along with the... um... singalongs :P was such great fun! Also, I love that they're using Coldplay (and particularly Mylo) songs for so many adverts lately, just heard ETIAW on The Voice and heard DLIBYH a while back for another one :D

Really surprised that no-one has a thread for the live broadcast tonight! For the record, it's just started and they sound INCREDIBLE (as always :P)

Haven't listened to the whole of that clip but there are definitely some American 'twinges' to his accent. He did sound a lot more Scottish in the past, but then I think the 'older' Coldplay have become, all of their accents have been a lot less broad - probably due to touring.

Not their song, but their cover of We Found Love. Everything is right with that cover :dazzled:

Sorry for dragging this over from the last page, but I completely agree that this has to be my favourite Buckin (or even non-whole band) video EVER! I just think it epitomises their incredibly special relationship and it feels so wonderfully natural and genuine :heart: And I love that Jonny does look so blissfully happy and relaxed, and that he can barely take his eyes off Chris. The bits at about 0:58 (where it seems like he has to catch himself from looking so adoringly at Chris) and also the look at the end just KILL me... My chances of ever being in a relationship are ruined because I will expect to have one of the same intensity as C and J!

When you get more excited over the boys' birthdays than your own (which is today :P) Also, when you're really upset about the fact that you really wanted a Coldplay cake but no-one seems to have remembered that :cry:

I now have the craziest mental images of Chris with breasts and going around flaunting them, and Jonnyboy just admiring/caressing them... Dear God, my fellow Coldplayers, what have you done to me?!?!?! I used to be pure and innocent before I came here... :P

Yeah, I barely even think of it as a Rihanna song now... I think they just made it their own and completely rocked it. The use of actual instruments helped me like it more as well :laugh3: I just think that the guitar makes it brilliant and the beat and also Chris' little laugh at the beginning :nice: (sorry, that was a grammatically horrible sentence, but I can't be bothered to make it better :P) And I definitely agree that songs we sometimes dismiss as being, quite frankly, a bit crap, can actually sound amazing once they're given a revamp and a whole new direction.

Oh dear, you know things are bad when you're giggling like a child at even the mere sound of his voice (even on a crackly phone line!) But he is ridiculously funny - even when he just hesitates for a moment when Zane asks him to reveal and then says '... No!' :P On the other hand, I really, really, really hope and wish and pray that we get an EP, but I have a feeling he might just be talking about the DVD. Which is, of course, exciting in itself, but somewhat old news.

How perfect their cover of We Found Love is - infinitely better than the original! Also, how strong Chris' voice sounds on LRLRL :)

How I should really not be sitting on Coldplaying when I have an important exam tomorrow... :shocked2::P Also, I saw a video on Tumblr earlier that seemed to be X&Y era. It was a performance of Til Kingdom Come followed by Ring of Fire, and I was just thinking how gorgeous it was because they were all standing together and they really did just look like 4 best friends rather than this huge world-famous super-band!

I'm so tempted to enter but I don't know if I'm too late or even what I'd write! What would you guys actually do to meet them?

Ah right, that's great! I cannot wait :D This! A tour diary like they did with Live 2003 would be amazing, and I think it would be great to see how they've changed in terms of behind-the-scenes since AROBTTH Definitely agree :nod:. Viva would have made for a fabulous DVD as well, but the boys themselves do seem to have a lot of love for Mylo and the Xylotour is visually *spectacular*!
