RCT: I'm convinced that if everyone listened to Coldplay the world would be a better place. And that's not just 100% me being biased, I genuinely think their music and their lyrics and just them as a band would make people happier and more caring. :heart:

YKYATCW: You're pretty convinced Coldplay were the only thing that got you through last year and you know they're going to be the only thing to get you through this one! (Stressful exams to cope with :( ) On the other hand, they could just become a ridiculously bad excuse for procrastination - actually, what am I saying, I already do use them to procrastinate horrendously!

^ I mean I know this is pointless since they've already duetted, but I have to say: If I were her, I wouldn't be waiting for the call - I'd be absolutely begging for the opportunity to work with such an incredible band (especially considering that it might drag her credibility as a singer slightly up). I mean, to me that implies she thinks she's superior - which is absolutely hilarious because they have more talent in their (combined?! :laugh3:) little finger/s than she could ever dream of having. They are a million times the artist she'll ever be. (yeah, so I don't really like Rihanna... Just for the benefit of anyone who hadn't noticed that slight fact ... :rolleyes2: :laugh3:)

The way Jonny looks at Chris breaks my heart from its utter perfection and is clearly nothing short of adoration. They are just... beyond words :love: EDIT: In fact, although Chris is the more 'obvious' of the two (hugging and kissing Jonny,all the jokes etc) I think Jonny is just as in love with Chris (even if - being forced into reality here! - we're just talking purely platonic love) It's so clear when he looks at him; Jonny's is a look of real care and love. Ah, what I wouldn't do for a Jonny to my Chris :heart:

RCT: I really hate it when people refer to Coldplay as 'Chris Martin and co.' It's like, there are four of them! Not just Chris! You know, it's not like they're just his backing band, they are all equally important - they all deserve the recognition! :angry: On a nicer note: I really hope I can buy the tickets (unfortunately off a site like GetMeIn because I missed the real sale :( ) for Manchester or London. And I'm just wondering which Coldplay song I'm going to listen to to bring the New Year in - I'm thinking it's going to have to be a happy Mylo song like Paradise or Charlie Brown :D

Oh my god... I know I'm really, *really* late on this one, but I just watched The Nappies video. And... :shocked2::dizzy::freak::facepalm: ... What in the name of all that's good did I just witness?! That has to be the craziest, oddest, weirdest... funniest... most hilarious... No, hang on a second - did I just enjoy that?! :o I'm sure there's also something somewhere which says that it is wrong, utterly wrong to still fancy Chris and Guy after that. So how come... how come I still do?! :confused: :whaaat: What have Coldplay and Coldplaying done to my once so normal, innocent, unscarred (well... :laugh3:) head?!

Off-topic here, but I have to disagree with that. To love *everything* they ever produced, whether good or bad or indifferent, simply because they're your favourite band, would seem a little foolish - and a bit like blind adoration. Personally, I love all of Coldplay's albums and yes, I do consider myself a 'true fan' - however, if they came out with some dreadful crap, I can't see myself liking it purely because it was theirs. So I think that statement is a little unfair - I'm sure there are lots of 'true fans' on Coldplaying (or not even members, as the case may be) who dislike some of their work, but that doesn't by any means make them worse fans. On-topic again, whilst I couldn't possibly choose a single CP song that I'd say is my definitive *favourite*, I'd have to agree that yes, Charlie Brown is a wonderful song, and it would definitely be on a list of my 5/10 favourite songs! It is, without a doubt, a great song - fab lyrics, awesome tune and the perfect balance of 'new' and 'old' Coldplay. I really do love that song :heart:

THIS! I kinda do a freak-out little squeal-thing if I hear a song when I don't expect it, like on the radio or in a shop. I've had some weird looks before when all of a sudden a huge, goofy grin takes over my face :laugh3:

Perhaps everyone would be happier with that image if it had been Chris modelling it? :wink3: :laugh3:

Tends to be alt rock, nu-folk (Mumford, Noah&The Whale, Laura Marling etc) indie pop, indie rock... that sort of thing! Although, that said, I like classical, jazz, lmusic from the 20s and 60s... Very eclectic tastes really! And then some bands which I can't really categorise, like Sigur Ros and Apparatjik :laugh3:
