  1. Definite concerts: Mumford & Sons 5th December :dazzled: 5th or so time seeing them :D Florence & the Machine 9th December :dazzled: Finally getting to see her aaaaahhh so excited  Maybe: Nina Nesbitt Frank Turner And I NEED to see Sigur Ros at some point *wishes& Living in the middle of nowhere is not so great for getting to see live music :( The majority of the bands I like are fairly low-key so don't tend to travel anywhere near me.
  2. No :P Although I remember I used to have a crush on the guitarist/bassist/can't remember what exactly he did but I think it was Danny :laugh3:
  3. Never listened :( Bombay Bicycle Club
  4. The Apple Tree - Nina Nesbitt... Oooh, just changed into the Blue Room version of Don't Panic though :P
  5. How many sleeps now? :laugh3: *sleeps = sort of childish slang for days left, just in case that confused anyone :P (I'm not sure if it's an especially British saying)
  6. The question is, Row, do you have other folders dedicated to other body parts...? :sneaky: :laugh3:
  7. This sounds pretty reasonable to me, although if the band decide to take a proper hiatus (i.e. a relatively long one) I am half-convinced I'd actually die... Waiting three years is awful enough! I love the anticipation that builds up once you've had a confirmed release date for an album, but before that it is hell because you have absolutely no certainty as to whether there will even *be* another album! I'm already dreading the thought of not having much new material for at least 2-3 years, but more than that it's the thought of not seeing them live for that amount of time! I'm tempted at the moment to go to South America next year for the sole purpose of seeing them one more time before they take their 'mini-break'!
  8. I can't be alone on thinking this thread is a bit premature...? Speculation for LP6 I can understand: LP7, less so!
  9. Mmm, 7 I think... Parachutes AROBTTH X & Y VLVODAAHF Prospekt's March EP LRLRL Mylo Xyloto Will have 8 with Live 2012, and am about to buy Live 2003 as well. I really wish I had more... I'm hoping to buy some of the singles, promos and (wishful thinking) earlier EPs - although I have little hope of ever getting something like Safety or The Blue Room because I am just a poor high school student :(
  10. Just reading an article about maps on the BBC website and there's a picture of various creative ways of mapping London - and one of the drawings has Belsize Park on it (of course, first thing I thought was "Chris lives there!") :P
  11. When you finally find out what Chris smells like (my friend brought in his Tiger Balm :laugh3:) and he smells REALLY good!!! I think I could get addicted to that smell! Also, YKYATCW you're playing on the Draw Something app and you squeal really very loudly when you get the word 'Coldplay' to draw!!! I was so happy :D Then I spent far too much time drawing it and making it perfect :P
  12. This  I am going to save up and get myself a) a set of really high quality headphones and b) a proper, highest-quality-I-can-afford home sound system. On the topic of the Live DVD though... WHY IS IT NOT THE 19TH NOVEMBER YET?!?!?!?! I have vowed not to watch any videos because I want to build up the excitement and anticipation and the surprise, but it is such a long time!!! It is going to be wonderful though... I'm going to do nothing else all evening, I will just put on my concert t-shirt and all three of my Xylobands and perhaps get my mum to come in and sprinkle my confetti over me :laugh3: whilst I watch it. And tissues. I am going to need a huge box of tissues. :P
  13. When your friend mentioned that he has some Tiger Balm so you ask him if he can bring it the next time you meet - finally I will get to experience what Chris smells like!!! :laugh3: Yes, I am insane and unhealthily obsessed :P
  14. Holy... :sweatdrop: Row, did you really have to pick quite so many of the sweaty and... :sneaky::whistle: Chris pictures?!:awesome::dazzled: Was that really necessary! I am never going to leave this thread with anything resembling sanity (or innocence :laugh3:) ^ THIS!!!! I am DYING over here!!! :laugh3: Are we all agreed that Daylight should be the official theme for hot Chris picspams then? :P EDIT: Oh, and those POC pics... :bomb::bomb::bomb:
  15. Ah yes, I remember hearing that one before - I think that was actually the one I was thinking of but got the corridor and the 'Jonny was always high' bits mixed up :laugh3:
  16. I love that there is the running theme of rebelling against oppression and dictatorship throughout MX - this is really obvious in HLH and its video, but I'm also remembering when Chris was talking about the White Rose Movement in Nazi Germany... A lot of people are accusing MX of being 'less deep' than their other albums, but although the music seems, on the surface, a little less deep, I think there has been a lot of thought put into the album and actually it seems like they've had some really serious influences. Talking of which, I love that I learn lots of new things through Coldplay, because I've just been reading about the White Rose Movement thanks to remembering Chris mentioning it! ^Ergo, Coldplay are educational and should be on my school's curriculum :laugh3:
  17. You can't see a picture/video of a stadium lit up by Xylobands without a huge grin taking over your face - it is that easy for Coldplay to make you happy! :D
  18. ^ :laugh3: If you don't marry him, I might hunt him down and do it myself :P
  19. ^^^^ :O :bomb: :sweatdrop: :dead: Jeremyy, how could you do that to us! That was... HNNNNGGGG!!!! That one where he is lying down with the patch of stomach showing... I swear it's perfectly normal to stroke your computer screen!!! Yummy :wink3: But I can't make up my mind whether I prefer Viva or Mylo Chris... Am I allowed Viva curls with Mylo arms? :laugh3: ^ And THIS! Should be marked as X-rated!!!
  20. Is it really sad that I knew exactly where all of his tats were? :laugh3: Well, except from his 'J' tattoo - because we all know it exists... Just whereabouts? :sneaky: :P
  21. ^^^ Absolutely! I am one of those people who would never (and I don't think I *could* ever!) change who I am because someone else doesn't like it. Coldplay and being a Coldplayer are such huge parts of my life and that is not going to change. Also, I will never see how loving Coldplay or the band themselves are uncool in any way - again, might be the tiniest bit biased :P but I think they are incredibly cool!
  22. I'm of a mixed opinion... On the one hand, I felt like it wasn't brilliant - it was good, yes, but nothing absolutely out of the ordinary. On the other hand, I feel like I'm trying to compare it to all their other videos, when really I should be trying to take it purely on its own merit. And if I go with the latter, then I think I actually really like it. Yes, I agree that it did feel a little like just an advert for the comics, but I also loved the story of it and thought that considering how difficult animation must be, it was actually very good. Overall, I found myself really enjoying it. I think I might be biased because I'm a huge fan of 'individuals fighting back against the horrible oppressive regime' storylines :laugh3: but whilst this is not one of Coldplay's best, I still do like it. Quite a lot. And I can't wait to see the comics :D
