  1. All this talk about what AHFOD (some *serious* head-shaking will be done on my part if they stick with that title!) will sound like stylistically is making me dream... much as I actually ended up loving GS, there will always be a bit of me which would love a mix of Parachutes/AROBTTH or going back to Viva... the latter being the album that got me addicted, the former albums being the ones which solidified the love and got me through a lot. Oceans, O or Ghost Story were perhaps my favourites from the GS, so even a continuation of those. I wouldn't mind some ASFOS-esque tracks (I love it just because it's so fun and joyful!) but I'm not sure how I'd feel / think I wouldn't be happy about the whole album being like that.
  2. I don't know, part of me can't stop thinking it's not 100% serious... let's be real here, Chris has done more interviews than I care to think of where he's been joking (Coldplay theme park interview, anyone?!) If nothing else, I hope that if it is for real then they change the title, it sounds so cheesy! Also, is no-one else a little sceptical about the 2015 release date? We haven't had an under-3-year turnaround since Parachutes and AROBTTH, so for LP7 to be out only a year after LP6 seems very strange to me. Much as I'd love a new album as soon as possible (more Coldplay material can only be a good thing!) I'm trying not to get my hopes up. As for the 'completion' thing, part of me freaked out when I saw that because the thought of Coldplay never having any new albums makes me want to cry, but rationally I know Chris has said that so many times before and I think for them it's just a way of making sure they put their all into it, to make sure that they never become complacent - if you think that something's going to be the last thing you do, you make sure you do it well. Well, that's what I'm hoping, anyway.
  3. First time listening to Green Eyes in ages and it makes me so happy every time I think about the fact that everyone thinks it's about a girl when in fact it's about Jonny - and then I smile even more because Chris wrote a love song about him. Yeah, that's about it!
  4. Been falling for Jonny's shy charms and cute-as-punch smile for a while now, but hearing him sing at the RAH gig last night just absolutely confirmed it for me!
  5. I've just discovered I'm in one of the band's photos :D I'm rather creepily reaching out to Chris when he was up on the main stage... no surprise there then :laugh3:
  6. Yeah, I love it here! I'm from further north in Scotland but Edinburgh's one of my favourite cities! And yes, yes you do haha!
  7. Last night: Buckin kiss! (albeit only a cheek kiss - but a kiss nonetheless!!!) After Chris made Jonny sing a bit of Don't Panic :dazzled:
  8. Back home after a wonderful day in London and all I can say is WOW, that gig!!! I still can't quite believe that it happened! Don't think I've come down off Cloud 9 yet to be honest. The venue was as magnificent as I knew it was going to be, I loved the setlist (I know people are a bit grouchy that it was the same as the 1st, but I don't care!) and the atmosphere was magical - as Chris said, what an audience. Coldplay just know how to make a girl deliriously happy :D Jonny singing must've been my favourite thing in the whole world (plus the kiss! The KISS!!!) and then when Chris and Will came up to the stage for Viva, and Chris was about 50cm away from me... and I think I touched his arm!!!! :dead: I went into complete shock and adrenaline rush then, I was properly shaking! The best night ever, thank you so much Coldplay
  9. About to leave the house to get my train to London :D It's actually happening tonight! TONIGHT! I'm absolutely beyond excited right now!
  10. I've started to believe that it's actually happening tomorrow
  11. ^ think so haha! That said, there was a busker outside today who absolutely butchered The Scientist - I was so tempted to go out and say I'd pay him to stop ruining my favourite song!
  12. I'm working in a Scottish shop in Edinburgh for the summer, and they play stereotypically Scottish music... I think it's the first time I've ever heard Fix You played on bagpipes :laugh3:
  13. A week to go!!! I'm so, so excited :D
  14. Guys, I'm so sorry for everyone who didn't get tickets, I know how heartbreaking that must be :( I just wanted to come here and be the ray of sunshine who, after my own heartbreak yesterday when I thought I had tickets and then the internet connection crashed when my payment was being verified - I got a confirmation email yesterday but didn't want to get my hopes up. But then I rang Gigs and Tours today and I have tickets. I have tickets to see Coldplay in the Royal Albert Hall and my heart is bursting with happiness and my eyes are full of the the most joyful tears. On the 2nd July, I'm going to sit on the RAH stage and watch the loves of my life perform. I can't explain how deliriously ecstatic I am.

  19. I'm so upset that I didn't get tickets, obviously - but will try again later. I just hope I don't go through the pain all over only to fail again. And I'm not even going to be at home, so I don't know how reliable the wifi will be :( At the risk of sounding like a complete misery guts - massive congrats to everyone who managed to get tickets! I'm sure it will be an amazing concert!
