Heh, it's not like I'm worrying about my height all the time. I'm used to it, but I don't like being the tallest most of the time. It's annoying. :dozey: But what's more annoying is that it is near impossible to find jeans (jeans are the only kind of trousers I even attempt to buy). They are almost always to short and if they are long enough they are usually only available in ridiculous sizes like 26w 36l. I'm not fat or anything, but apparently it's very difficult to buy jeans for normal sized tall girls. I own two pairs of jeans. :tongue: It's gotten better in the last few years though. I can almost choose when I go shopping now. :wacko:

Yeah, but you aren't lighthouse-tall. I know that height isn't important in a relationship, but if you are already uncomfortable with your height (like me), dating a shorter guy is only going to add to that. It's not like I choose to be picky about that, I just am. That doesn't mean I can't like shorter guys though.

I'm unusually tall, so I'm not really comfortable with my height. Mostly because nearly everyone is shorter, but it's also a pain to find clothes (read: jeans). ><;; I'm about 1.88 m. :blank:

Whether there are laws for/against it or not, fact is that prostitution exists and has existed for thousands of years. No laws, jurisprudence, social projects or whatever can stop it. I'd rather deal with it in the best way possible than not doing anything. Whether you approve of prostitution or not isn't relevant.

Aww, you're hurting his feelings. :sad: But to get back on topic, it's a complicated issue that has strong pros and cons. Prostitution is (apparently) the oldest profession in the world so it's not something you can change. It happens everywhere, all the time. Legalizing or not is an ethical problem really. If you legalize, you could support or encourage pimps, loverboys, human traffickers and more scum like that. But you can also control and limit it to a certain level. I don't believe anyone would choose for a "career" in prostitution. More often than not it's a last resort. By legalizing it you can help the prostitutes (again to a certain level). If you don't legalize it, you have no control over what happens in the "sector". While I think that prevention is better than cure, fact is that prostitution exists. Because it's not something you can change or just wish away, it's better to cure than to turn a blind eye.

I get that and I don't think it's pathetic at all. Who cares about money? It's not important. Experiences and memories are. Plus, it's great to get away for a few days to clear your head. But this is coming from someone who spent all her money on travelling last year. I'm biased, but I would much, much rather have great experiences and memories than a heap of money.

Now really good (as long as I don't live with them :tongue:), but I used to have a really bad relationship with my dad when I was about 12-16. Basically he acted like a douche most of the time when I was at his place (in weekends, with my little brother) and I had to be the grown up. The fact that we both are stubborn as hell didn't help much either. I even got kicked out of the house a fair few times and I strongly considered breaking all ties with him. But eventually he got over himself and now we have a great relationship. In hindsight I'm really happy I held on to our bad relationship even though at the time it was really hard. Luckily I've always had a great relationship with my mom. My relationship with my parents got a lot better when I moved out, by the way. :nice:

Eh, you might be a bit crazy, but not stupid. :D It's worth it. Makes my maybe jaunt to Dusseldorf look really cheap in comparison. I would spend €150 at most. :thinking:
