Arcade Fire - track 14 from The Suburbs

How i met your mother
Really? I never noticed that but then again, I don't pay that much attention when I watch this show. Still haven't watched last season finale yet. :dozey:

Arcade Fire
Every music store that takes itself seriously should have all Arcade Fire albums available (ep = extra points).

Arcade Fire
I don't see how you would get all eight covers, even if you're an obsessive fan. They are too much alike and frankly not all that great (except for the car). If you're going to spend money on Arcade Fire buy more concert tickets or something. :dozey: I got this one: And listening at the moment. :nice: Oh, I spent 18 euros on that damn disc by teh way. Supporting indie record stores and stuff. It better be freaking mindblowing. :whip:

Arcade Fire
Hm. High Violet got a higher mark (slightly but still).. Gonna pick my album cover today. Anything but the regular one will do. Actually, on second thought, I think I'mma pick a back cover. :D We used to have a car like the one on the front cover. It broke down all the time. :disappointed: Jolly. Numbers, numbers, numbers. :blank:

RADIOHEAD WEEK NUMBER TWO.
Ha, me too. :guitarist: Yup, third week seems to work for most people. (I'm actually at a festival that weekend as well, but it's basically in my non existing backyard so that should be just fine :nice:)

RADIOHEAD WEEK NUMBER TWO.
I'm fine with any week except for next week.

Arcade Fire
I want to see them agaaaaaaaaaain so badly. It's been almost three years. :blank: So I put LP3 on my iPod to listen to while I was away this week, but somehow I only managed to listen to the first 6-7 songs. Wasn't even close to being blown away (in other words, not really impressed), so I'm gonna get the album tomorrow and give it proper attention. I'm afraid it'll disappoint me.

E-book sales outstripping hard-back books for first time, claims Amazon
E-books don't suck (except for the fact that they aren't actual books), the prices do. I would never buy an e-book if I wanted to read the book for fun but it would be so convenient to get digital textbooks. Here e-textbooks are about 20-30% cheaper than normal books, so there is no point in getting them as second hand books are a lot cheaper. But then you have to carry more weight, which isn't great either. :dozey:

Arcade Fire
It would be pretty cool if the album didn't leak. Either way, I'm probably just going to buy the album in a record store on the 2nd as I'm away next week and I don't expect it to leak this week. And if it does leak, it's not that hard to wait a week. August 2nd is so close already. :stunned:

Mt. Desolation: Keane/Killers Side Project
It does seem like second Tired Pony. But the song sounds pretty good, so I'm not complaining. :nice:

Arcade Fire
Sucks, but you might be able to watch the end. If I were in school during an Arcade Fire live stream, I would probably have skipped class. I can't sleep at work though, boo. (otherwise I would definitely have watched)
