The Snow Patrol Thread
Yeah, that's why I'm still wondering what kind of show it is. They should announce something soon though, because I don't think I will go if it's a normal show. I'm not that keen on AHMS and I'm possibly seeing them at a festival this summer. :nice:

Does anybody here know whether the European shows in May/June are reworked or just regular shows? :nice:

The Franz Ferdinand Thread
You know you can't ever change that avatar, right? :P I wonder how it ended up on the web. :D I haven't seen any of the videos yet, except for a part of No You Girls. But I don't watch music channels. Guess I'll need to do some youtubing soon. :nice: Does anyone here have any of the dvds? (dunno if there's more than one tbh) I have the self titled one and it's pretty awesome. :cheesy:

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
NOOOO!! EVIL EVIL STUPID FAKE LOCKE PERSON!! DON'T THROW DESMOND IN WELLS! Bah, Desmond better not be dead or crippled or anything else that would prevent him from being in the last few episodes. I'm kind of hoping Desmond will seriously hurt fake Locke very very soon. Grr. And Sawyer needs to get off his lazy ass and do something useful. :whip: I can't remember a time Jack was interesting. Ha. He's been extra boring this season so I don't mind much that they cut back on his screentime. But a Jack/fake Locke showdown might be interesting. (not as interesting as Desmond owning fake Locke though) I guess I'm gonna watch the preview now. I never do that, but this one seems really interesting. Or maybe I won't. Hm. :/ Gonna rewatch S6 this weekend. :cheesy: Blegh, I need to find that new show that is (at least nearly) as awesome as Lost. It doesn't exist. :disappointed:

Or go see the dvd, Heima. As for albums, I agree that Ágætis or Takk are best to start with. Definitely don't skip ( ) though!

Polish President Lech Kaczynski 'in plane crash'
That's harsh. A Dutch newspaper even reported that there were 132 people on the plane, no survivors. :\

The Middle East -A Fine Aussie Band
Really? Well, I didn't do that much research before I posted, tbh. I just figured that it was their debut because it has an albumlike length. But that's actually even better because I love The Recordings of the Middle East and can't wait for more. :nice: So is that all there is so far?

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
Yeah, I get why he'd cooperate with Widmore. But what seems strange to me is the way he just went with Sayid, even though he must know Sayid is definitely not on team Widmore. So either the gun was really convincing or Desmond isn't really on team Widmore. Which begs the question, what happened in Desmondland? I guess this will be cleared up in the next episodes, but it struck me as weird. :nice:

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
I used follow darkUFO's site, but not this year because I don't want to be spoiled too much. The hangman games are pretty cool though. :D This episode might be my favourite so far, but Desmond centrics usually are. It was kind of refreshing to see that Desmond is an ass in the alternate parallel thingie. But the episode was way too short. I know I wouldn't have minded to see more of Des' parallel story. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the weird flashes thing will develop. :nice: Also, Desmond seemed way too compliant after the radiation thing. I wonder what happened?

Your avatar wins. :D The story about the pancakes made me laugh so hard. @Koala: if you can order from cdwow, you might be able to buy the book. You can pay with paypal or iDeal (I think).

Me too. :disappointed: I actually knew I should've bought a ticket for their 2008 tour but just didn't bother. I'm really looking forward to seeing Jónsi in June though. Videos from the first couple of shows are looking pretty good. :nice:

Your favourite 5 bands at the moment... in no order are...
Happy generally pisses me off, but Owl City is at least hyper happy. Oh help, a coldplaying family.
