The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
He started laughing when he did it at The O2. It was hilariously adorable, but at the same time a bit annoying because it did make the song a little meh. I suppose though that if I were at the front and Matt came to the barrier I would've screamed myself hoarse. But equally the pushing and shoving during that would probably be far too much. And it was worse this time than last time. I still liked admiring Dom stood up though. DAT ASS

Yeah being able to see the whole thing is really impressive actually. And y'know, with Matt's mad skills I dare say it could happen. I can't believe he's become such a show-whore though. I mean more camera/audience play than even Chris Martin suddenly. Ohh wow, I've been in 101 before, it's insane how close it is. I was 110, so further back... But I was front row of the block and on an aisle seat too so I had the perfect view and space for me.

My friend joked around and said that we were going to get experimental hip-hop with beatboxing on the next album  Ah man, I was seats too but I don't think it really mattered. Where did you end up?

SHSDGFGUYRHHJBGHGI IT WAS SO GOOD GUYS. Like insanely good. I had an awesome time, but now I have had to retire my feet, voice and back because apparently I am getting old and my body has started to give out. Highlights definitely had to be TiRO, Panic Station and New Born. I even enjoyed Madness live, but that was more for Matt playing up to the camera and the glasses that flashed the words. Ugh, the pyramid stage setup is fucking awesome. It's interesting to watch. And Tom has outdone himself on the visuals, it's amazing. Like it's been amped up a whole new level since TR tour. Um, I will probably be more coherent when I have slept again (my body is out of sorts still right now-- I went to the gig still nursing a 3 day hangover so now my system is in shock I think). Anyway, I have some pretty decent pictures. Have some:

Songs of the Year - 2012
Thought something was amiss! I think I prefer Howler > Palma Violets > The Vaccines. Although this probably will change in a few days because at the moment I am stanning Howler after interviewing them. Standard pretty much.

Songs of the Year - 2012
Just for this I want to marry you. Palma Violets are fucking awesome. So awesome. :awesome: (Also you have The Vaccines and Palma Violets yet no Howler... What gives?) Anyway, I will give serious consideration to my list before posting it so...

The 13th Mixtape Exchange - It's Review time.
I don't mind. The sooner I get it the sooner I can make a start. Especially considering I start my lab rotations in a few days so may not have a lot of time after that...

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
It lacks the inspiration the previous albums had. And then T2L came along and stole that thunder more. So I guess it now means I don't hate TR as much as I used to? :laugh3:

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I'm totally part of this fan club too. It's one of my favourites off T2L. WE NEED T-SHIRTS But I will stan over in a corner for Panic Station because as ridiculous as it is, I want to have love children with it :dazzled:

Oh I thought I had totally heard that answer before somewhere.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Um, really? You can honestly say The Resistance is on the same par with Abso and OoS? Seriously? Preach it. My list would have to go: OoS > Showbiz & Abso > BHaR > TR > T2L

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
As already seen I say that MX is cohesive. I think although there are a variety of different elements to the album it flows better than T2L does. The transitions certainly aren't as jarring or as noticeable. I do think Coldplay thought about album order whereas Muse seem to have just tacked them together in the order they were written. But that's just me. And I'd probably agree with you after listening to it a few times. The low points of MX are horrendously low; whereas for T2L, the lows are tolerable. But yeah, I'd go with it being their worst too. I find the lows on T2L lower than TR-- which I thought at the beginning. So I'm not eating any of my previous words. :P What a wonderful, positive, freedom of speech world you must live in. Have fun with that.

Battle Born vs Mylo Xyloto
Agreed. That's just... horrific to say

The 2nd Law VS Mylo Xyloto
^I believe so. When I said I was going to compare the two; I didn't mean track vs track comparisons. Because that makes no sense?
-
The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
^At least MX had the sense to be an album. T2L just feels like it is bits and pieces everywhere. Played in order it makes no sense, it's so jarring and Supremacy in to Madness is quite frankly, frikkin' madness. It lacks togetherness and cohesion. But then the highlights on T2L are better than MX. I might actually write a list on T2L vs. MX to decide

Finally listened to the album. Underwhelmed. There's a couple of really good tracks, the rest just sort of exists. I can listen to it and accept it; but it's missing any sort of pizazz!

Mumford & Sons
The people at the front of the non-ticket queue had sleeping bags. I was like :shocked2: about it. Insane. I can't believe it ended up being that far. Basically if you wanted to get in you had to be down there from the night before/morning of. Insanity. :laugh3: We might with the way we both follow them

Mumford & Sons
The queue was huge when I saw it; at least 300 people. But that queue was full of the people who didn't win tickets and so turned up to fill up any spaces if people who won tickets didn't turn up. Because I had tickets, I turned up at 6:30 when the doors opened. And we went straight in and straight to barrier (most people clustered around the middle whereas I prefer getting barrier how short I am, even if it is off to the side). Yep, people are so weird. Because it is free I think they feel like not going wastes more money or something. Ahh, I forget they have supported people. I saw them on their first headlining tour by themselves and have seen them on every Spectour since as well as pretty much every festival appearance. Ah, yes, I wanted to go to the London show-- but it is likely I will be going to Reading or Portsmouth.
