  1. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the irony.
  2. Ohmygosh, they are so amazing :D (I was going to ask where you where did you send it? Because I've got a letter thanking them for the opportunity to be in the Christmas Lights video, but I have no idea where to send it to?)
  3. You spelt it right :) I have to agree with you. At first I think I was more obsessive over Coldplay. But my musical taste has changed and I've generally become obsessive over music and going to see bands live. That's why I like going around the WoM thread to meet likeminded people. (I also muchos love for your underappreciated Wolstenbeast icon. Tis very sad but true). I do have to admit, I do go on the Coldplay thread... But I generally avoid non-news/events/discussion threads because the rest (oh, excepting loldplay) make me despair because it's not about the music. :\ Also, people are highly scary in those threads and are always talking about luring 'Coldplay Band Member Here' to their bedrooms and stuff, and that sort of talk weirds me out. :stunned:
  4. Congratulations Lore  I heard Bliss on a CSI fan video and was all like... Ohhh this is cool and decided to look up the band. Turned out to be Absolution era so I dug up the back catalogue and followed them around for a bit. :P And since then I've loved them
  5. I don't know... A concept album can go really well or can go horrifically wrong. It makes me incredibly nervous. :worried2: Oh well, new material is all I care about. We will see when we get there. Though, I have to admit, the album framework (Two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together) sounds really nice. And hopefully with the intimate feel they're going for-- we may get smaller gigs that everyone is talking about (maybe even at the new Brighton stadium :awesome:)
  6. ontd_muse strikes again  It made my life for a few days. Not even going to lie. I can now listen to the song without gagging as much. Success.
  7. At least we have new material and new tours to look forward to in the future. Whilst Muse are off the circuit we get the return of Coldplay, Kasabian and Foo Fighters. So I think I should be able to deal... Just ;)
  8. I'm a huge Coldplay fan... They are one of my favourite bands. But I don't fan-girl them to death (I don't want to have children with any of them and I don't care if other people dislike them... I just appreciate the music and love seeing them live). I don't think you could ever say that certain people weren't allowed on the boards. I think it's open to all: people who love Coldplay, people who like Coldplay and people that hate Coldplay... We've just got to accept that there are all sorts of opinions and respect the people that have them. Plus, I think this board would be highly boring if it was all like 'COLDPLAYERS4LYFUNITED' with no diversity.
  9. Believe it or not, I have no idea what Moses even looks like :stunned:
  10. Already? :bigcry: Nooo. There was not enough pictures/tweets/twipics for us to survive on. NO!
  11. Nosebleeds or not, it's still not a cheap day trippin'
  12. Are those twilighters fo' real? Why would you spend that much time/money/effort to go and see a band whose music you only know via tedious movie scene connections? Grar.
  13. Nattatouille replied to Barbie1's topic in Coldplay
:stunned: WHAT DID I STUMBLE IN TO!?
  14. I strangely love this picture.... I can only hope that this is the first of many Twitter pics and they start tweeting away like normies bands (by that, I want Coldplay updates/spam like Muse).
  15. ^Ew. Grosss. That's the right attitude to adopt though. Specially for Muse concerts.
  16. With hair like that... You can tell they'd make an epic band. Maybe the guys should actually try it as a new revolutionary style?
  17. :stunned: What happened? (And they can be annoying. A drunk guy pissed on my friend and I at Reading this year :veryangry2:)
  18. I want one
  19. It seems a little suspect to me...
  20. It's a highly weird experience. At Kings of Leon I was stood pretty far back (I didn't finish work until 12, so didn't get there until 3pm just before the afternoon of bands started) and I was trying to record Mary where I was stood with my fam... And this guy in front of me was like: 'That's got to be killing your arms. Here, let me help.' Picked me up and carried me with him through the crowd to get me closer. It was cool... Until an hour later when I realised I didn't know where my family were anymore  Ha. Drunk people at gigs = classic fools.
  21. :laugh3::laugh3: Same here! I'm 5'3 and a smidge... So I get lost in a crowd, let alone a Muse crowd. People are sometimes nice to me though and I've been picked up and carried forward in a load of gigs. S'weird.
  22. Wow... Barrier :stunned: I wanted barrier. But my friend was afraid of being squashed (and he'd just had an operation or something and was told to avoid squashery or something to that effect) :disappointed:
  23. Childhood flashbacks like whoa. Every day after school sitting there and trying to guess the big art attack before it was finished.
  24. If Guy was a mod on the board he would have banned everyone that discussed him on this thread with glee. He'd have killed the thread before it even ventured into this wonderful weirdness. It would be a loss to us all. :disappointed:
