  1. Indeed. It's a Christmas card with a difference.
  2. We somehow have to fit oh's in there though because we're all dead impressive at oh-ing.
  3. I doubt it will ever feel real. I have so many pictures from it over my walls. But every time I have to pinch myself and be like yes, you were there Christmas is already overshadowed
  4. It's 'cause we're incredible. And were all created equal
  5. Oh haii, everyone. Looks like everyone was busy whilst I was at work :p
  6. I just literally RAN home from work upon hearing this wonderful news. (And this shows dedication on so many levels because Natt does not simply run for anything.) It was worth it. The song still sounds as beautiful as the first time... And yep, it still makes me well up (but even more now because I know what else came afterwards). I don't know whether I can see me or not on the video. It sort of looks like me, but then there is no blue streaks, so I guess it can't be. But despite that. I KNOW I'M THERE AND IT MAKES IT SO EXCITING.
  7. Epic... It's making me so excited for Wednesday!
  8. U2 and Muse on the same stage would be absolutely epic. Epic.
  9. That's a good point actually. Both are probably massive revenue generators and the record label would potentially want to spread out the release dates to make their incomings better over the financial year...And also to make sure that they don't cause competition between them. Maybe a few months gap either side would be sufficient... So Coldplay in March or August?
  10. Okay... This is a hard one. But I guess I have more ground for comparison because I saw both Coldplay and Muse at the same venue (Wembley) and was pretty much in the same place for both... Both are brilliant, but for different reasons. Muse are technically perfect. You cannot fault anything they play because it is exactly the same as the album. Their improv riffing is awesome and inspired-- and because they do that the energy stays throughout the entire gig. Coldplay aren't as perfect. Chris quite often 'fucks up' but I find that really endearing and it makes them quite human. Also Coldplay don't do improv jamming, but then again their music style doesn't tend to lend itself to it. So the energy of the crowd can lurch violently. Muse do a stage show. Like a proper stage show. The lights and video effects are fantastic. They also had a moving/revolving stage which is just inspired. On the flipside Coldplay have the better showmanship with the crowd thing-- like their Butterflies and Balloons pretty much outdo Muse's (quite boring in comparison) eyeball balloons and streamers. But they don't quite have the same video and light effects power. Chris (Martin) is better at crowd interaction than Matt. As already said it's probably because Matt is painfully shy so he leaves Dom and Chris to do it-- and they 'dabble' with crowd. Chris (Martin) does the interaction really well, like telling impromptu stories, inspiring sing-a-longs and obviously their B/C-staging. So really, both bands have their pros and cons. If you blended them together then you'd get the ultimate experience... But seen as you can't, you get very different experiences from both. And in my mind, they're tied for my best concert evah (and that's saying something considering the volume I've been to) because although they provide different things... They both deliver an unforgettable experience.
  11. Only Superstition! It's one of my favourite tracks. Nothing doth compare.
  12. Ohmy. Muse was just on a perfume advert. And weirdly enough... It wasn't from The Resistance (I'm thinking it was from Hullabaloo maybe?)
  13. I found yellow skinnies on a website when I was looking for green skinnies: http://www.phixclothing.com/jeans-c-35_40.html?page=2
  14. They're horrific to try and find. It's only because we have vintage shops did I manage. But they cost a bomb. I had to forego going out for two weeks for them
  15. We're not judging the songs... We're just judging the names of them. I don't care if the titles are a bit... strange... As long as the music is good then everything else is just irrelevant!
  16. Those green trousers  I got a pair after seeing them. He inspired my brightly coloured jean facination.
  17. I can't believe you even had the stomach to type that. :sick2: But that should just result in an eerie silence... I digress though. MUSE
  18. That is indeed a cool story. I stayed up in my 'individual flat' until Biebs finished and then came down to watch the result followed by 'I'm A Celebrity...' I don't get the Bieb love... Just like at the AMA's when the interviewers tried to talk to Muse about how much of a musical genius Biebs is... I was like 'fo' srs?!' :shame:
  19. Wow. Deadpan Biebering. Impressive.
  20. I don't think it did... We were overrun by Bieber for yet another inane reason...
  21. Oh no, you didn't come across like that! I was just more like you probably heard it more than the rest of us. As said, I can only remember the last section that we sung over and over really well now. The rest has been jumbled with everything :\
  22. Some people of .mu and ontd_muse tried to make KirkyFTW trend on Twitter the other day. Twas awesome
  23. I heard on another thread that potentially the words had changed by the end of the night. :\ You're probably in more of a position to comment than I am though. Yeah, the PA system did make it sound really demo-ish. But it was still really good :D
