  1. Why, are you trying to save the Planet Telex so you don't have to Sail to the Moon? *did I really just say that*
  2. awww you can't leave us hanging like that Mike I say that all time time at work. I no lie. (Now you all want to know why.)
  3. Yeah that's it. You have no idea how much I wish we had the equivalent of the Underground here. They do in New York City, but that's about it. I wouldn't have to spend all that time/money driving, and while I'm being transported I'd have time to do little tasks like reading, etc.. But even if they started breaking ground on an Underground today, it wouldn't be completed for at least 10 years, so that's not going to help me much.
  4. Maybe the better way to compare it is to compare how much people spend on gas per week, as opposed to per gallon/liter. Right now I spend about $60 per week on gas, or about £40. I'd say that's average around here. Some people that I work with live further from work than I do, they probably spend about $100 per week (£60). What about you guys across the pond? What's your average weekly expense on gas?
  5. wow I feel bad for you guys
  6. The dentist numbed my mouth a lot more than I thought he would; I didn't think he'd have to numb it at all!

  11. Happy Birthday! :awesome: I wish you a day without having to see any grammar/spelling errors!
  12. Look at the guys on your mom's side of the family (i.e., her dad, uncle, etc.). Genetically that is how it's passed on; from your mom's side, not your dad's side. Personally I think guys freak out about it more than they need to. It's understood that naturally most men will have some degree of balding and/or receding hairline, that's just the way it is. Here's a little secret... most women don't care. But if you get to the point where you just can't stand it anymore, then there's nothing wrong with shaving it all off. Completely bald = hawt.
  13. I laughed so hard at this. Crip walkin' to heaven...
  14. ^ I've never had a mango. :disappointed: All of the "Mr. Men and Little Miss" cartoons on the Google logo made me happy today.
  15. Well if we're gonna talk about avatars, actually Emily's kinda freaks me out. I feel sorry for the little kitty getting all spray-painted like that.

  17. Precisely. Mmmph.
  18. Maybe to make sure people know the lyrics so they can sing along at the festivals; although people probably already know them anyway. Or maybe the Oracle is receiving WAY too many questions about "what is Chris saying in this part of that song", so that will weed out a lot of similar future questions. Somebody should reply on twitter and tell them they need to fix the format of the art history links in the recordings section, I can't believe after all this time (after updating the website to the new format), that they haven't noticed that the font is the same text as the background so nobody can see it. I'll post pics in a minute to show you what I mean. (not that it would matter anyway I suppose, since there hasn't been a new one for a half a year or something crazy like that :shifty: ) Format of Safety EP Art History as is (you can't see the text): When you highlight all of the background, THEN you can see the text (since it is black): mildy annoying

Actually I think it would have been more likely that he would have pleaded not guilty. Not from the perspective that he thought he didn't do anything wrong (although maybe he would think that based on the twisted logic which was the brainchild of all the atrocities to begin with); but from the perspective that he would just use the plea as a way to mock the system. And who knows what motivation that could have given his followers. And maybe he could have used it as a platform to somehow give "signals" to his followers to carry out certain plans? Whether he would have plead guilty from the beginning, or gone through a trial and then be found guilty, the end result would almost certainly have been his execution. So why not take a little time and screw the system first?
