On December 21st I was taking an early morning East Coast train from Newcastle to London. About a half hour after leaving Newcastle, the train broke down and we were stuck on the tracks over an hour without power. When they did fix it, we had to depart at the next station because they didn't know how long the fix would last, plus the overhead lines broke further south so all of those trains were being re-routed, etc. When I was on the original train, there was an announcement that we could get a refund for our tickets by going to their website. I sent a request on the East Coast website last week, which indicated they would look into my request ASAP. I still haven't received a response. I'm pretty sure there's a time limit for a refund, so I don't want to sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting for a response that may never come. Have any of you tried to get a refund for a U.K. rail ticket? Any advice you can offer me?

Dark brown, a few inches below my shoulders. I'm very happy with the color and length. If I see any sparklies popping through, I just yank them out. Naturally wavy/curly, although I typically only have it that way on my days off, otherwise I put steam curlers in it so the curls are "softer". I can also get it to be straight if I want. I can't really complain. Although it would be nice if my hair were thicker.

Jimmy, earlier I forgot to say thank you for review, it was great! :\ That's kind of sad. Again, that's kind of sad that so many people weren't very interested. From reading McGinn's Roadie book, it sounds like they don't really like it when people do that, so that might be why Miller ignored it, not to mention they're really focused on getting things right during set-up. Yeah, they're used to more people being excited. Chris always seems to make sure everyone in the crowd is into it and having a good time, so most of this crowd sounds out of place compared to what they're used to. Unfortunate. Whoa, I thought the butterfly confetti was no more? Maybe they just had a few leftovers and were saving it specifically for this commercial event.

Ask about mic stands too, I seem to recall he smashed one to bits in Liverpool.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this still hasn't been mentioned on coldplay.com? I understand if they didn't want to do the live blogs in Vegas, but there hasn't been a single peep about it on the website (at least, not through the time I'm posting this message).

Maybe they are going to put Ms. Taylor to work again. Plus there was that story about them being "inspired" by graffiti. Or something like that. Maybe they'll try to make their own. Or maybe she will do it for them. Or maybe they'll sneeze on it and auction it off for charity.

^ Just go to the doctor, tell him/her your issue, and let them figure it out. If it was a urinary tract infection you'd be going nuts because it would be so painful and would have spread to your kidneys by now, so that's probably not what's going on. There's a possibility it could be a symptom of diabetes, but maybe not. The only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor. Just go.

:lol: Indeed, caught up in my own little plot. To spare any omg-ness, it wasn't epic, most of the peeps weren't there. Probably because everyone was hanging out at the Liverpool one, so they were probably thinking they didn't want to bother again the next night at Newcastle.

Yes, creepy fo sho. I find it amusing how under the music interests it lists "Cold play". Okie dokie. Not only is the 'fan' that made this crazy, but they also appear to be a bit lacking in the intelligence department.

Coldplay HQ probably tracked him/her down and abducted him/her before he/she could make his/her turkey and has him/her locked in the basement of the Beehive so he/she can't reveal the details to give anybody else any ideas of how to sneak into an after-show party.

I haven't even looked yet, but I have a feeling this is going to end up in the Chris/Jonny thread. "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." That is of course, unless it results in some BuMabies. :sneaky:

There seriously needs to be a coldplaying/er meetup in Australia during the next tour. I wanna hug some koalas and stuff. :| Plus of course, there's some people I want to meet.
