The Walking Dead
Wow man, I was actually biting my nails during this episode. I never do that! I was about to go apesh*t during the last scene where The Governor "revealed" Merle as a traitor so to speak, and they brought out captured Daryl. I was like oh hell naw they best not kill off Daryl or I'll go down there and "turn" all the writers/producers myself; but then they showed the preview for the next episode (in February) and it had Daryl in it (in a different scene) so I felt relieved. This is what I think will happen in regard to that situation...

Prince William and Kate expecting a baby / 22-07 Duchess gives birth to baby boy
I wonder how early "very early" is, aside from the first trimester of course. That's the disadvantage of being in the public eye that much. Many women these days, for obvious reasons that most women don't like to talk about, wouldn't want to announce even to their family that they are pregnant until they're beyond the first trimester. Neither did she. :sneaky: oh good lord

Powerball Jackpot at Record $500 Million -- and Growing Ahead of Wednesday Drawing By ALAN FARNHAM Nov. 27, 2012 The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing now stands at $500 million -- the richest Powerball pot ever -- and it's likely to get even sweeter. "Back in January, we moved Powerball from being a $1 game to $2," says Mary Neubauer, a spokeswoman for the Iowa lottery. "We thought at the time that this would mean bigger and faster-growing jackpots." It's proved true. The total, she says, "has been taking huge jumps -- another $100 million since Saturday." (The most recent drawing, on Saturday night, produced no winning numbers.) Until now, the biggest Powerball pot on record -- $365 million -- was won in 2006 by eight Lincoln, Neb., co-workers. Lottery officials in Iowa, where Powerball is headquartered, have started getting phone calls from all around the world. "When it gets this big," says Neubauer, "we start getting inquiries from Canada and Europe from people wanting to know if they can buy a ticket. They ask if they can FedEx us the money." The answer she has to give them, she says, is: "Sorry, no. You have to buy a ticket in a member state from a licensed retail location." About 80 percent of players don't choose their own Powerball number, opting instead for a computer-generated one. Asked if there's anything players can do to improve their odds of winning, Neubauer says no -- apart from buying a ticket, of course. Lottery officials put the odds of winning Wednesday's Powerball pot at one in 175 million, meaning you are 25 times more likely to win an Academy Award. Skip Garibaldi, a professor of mathematics at Emory University in Atlanta, provides additional perspective: You are three times more likely to die from a falling coconut, he says; seven times more likely to die from fireworks, "and way more likely to die from flesh-eating bacteria" (115 fatalities a year) than you are to win the Powerball lottery. Segueing, then, from death to life, Garibaldi notes that even the best physicians, equipped with the most up-to-date equipment, can't predict the timing of a child's birth with much accuracy. "But let's suppose, however, that your doctor managed to predict the day, the hour, the minute and the second your baby would be born," Garibaldi says. The doctor's uncanny prediction would be "at least 100 times" more likely than your winning Wednesday. Even though he knows the odds all too well, Garibaldi says he'll usually play the lottery. "When it gets this big, I'll buy a couple of tickets. It's kind of exciting. You get this feeling of anticipation. You get to think about the fantasy." So will he be purchasing two tickets for Wednesday's Powerball? "I can't," he tells ABC News. "I'm in California" -- one of eight states that doesn't offer Powerball. http://abcnews.go.com/Business/powerball-jackpot-record-500-million/story?id=17812739

Coldplayers! Do you have questions for Paris, Coldplay's "artist in residence"? *** UPDATED 26/11
We've received responses from Paris to some of your questions! We'd like to extend a warm thank-you to Paris for taking the time out of his busy schedule to do this for the fans. If you'd like to keep updated on his current projects and other activities, feel free to visit his website and blog. And don't forget, there's still time to enter the raffle to win your choice of one of the £250 MX lithographs, with proceeds going to Kids Company. The more you donate, the more entries you get, and the better chance you have of winning the lithograph! Probably a weird question, but what was the strangest item they asked you to mx-ify and has the MX style influenced you own style/work in any way? I've painted soooo many things on this Album /Tour it's hard to choose a favourite...sneakers, hard hats, phone cases, flight cases for the roadies..., I love the pianos, drums, fenders & acoustic guitars, the style I've developed there has really inspired my canvass painting & studio work. .....Wierdest thing I've MX'd?....probably a mini fold up penny farthing for a Roadie. Oh yeah I painted some crutches for Mcgoo whilst in Auckland the other day too! Did you teach Coldplay any spray painting techniques, or did you give them some exercises to improve their skills? OH! And what are your favourite artists? I taught the band a few trade secrets & special techniques.....but they all had a lot of enthusiasm & excitement for the project and that's all you really need! They all advanced really fast , and each developed their own individual style right away. My favourite artists are Ekoe, David Hockney, Henri Mattisse, Hundertwasser, Pablo Picasso, Russell Maurice, Mudwig, Pinky, Kieth Harring. Do you think that graffiti artwork deserves a place in art galleries or should it stay where it was started, in the streets? It's getting harder and harder for graffiti work to remain in the streets these days...everything gets sterilised and cleaned up so fast! If graffiti hangs in galleries it has to be in the right context, like installation art & objects ... Art that records a specific moment or action....re-created on canvass. When the band came to input their part of the graffiti projects did all 4 members of the band jump in right away or did any one of them need some encouragement to start? All the band took to spray painting so naturally, I mean it's pretty un-nerving the first time you pick up a spray can.... , especially in front of a group of people , but they all flowed straight away! Which graffiti artists from the past have influenced you.... and how would you describe your style to someone who hasn't seen it? Graffiti artists from the past who have inspired me are (Bando from Paris)Quick, Fuzz, Futura 2000 & Arab (NY).. I'd describe my style as "beyond graffiti"...somewhere in the trans continental shift in space, time & style I paint pictures with words..." (it's hard to explain so I let the pictures do the talking...) Did you make any changes or add new art for the concert venues featured on the live DVD as a way to add even more impact on film? The graphics were truly stunning at the concerts I saw; thanks for that. Yes the mic tech asked me to specially paint all the radio mic's with flouro paint and little symbols on, so that the close ups on the band would work really well. Did any of the band members have any sort of difficulty at first with the graffiti? Even if not, any funny stories on a graffiti-gone-wrong incident? A lot of furniture got painted in the making of this Album cover! How do you get into this type of a career? I'd love to do something like this! I've been very lucky! Always work hard and follow your dreams, you'll meet the right people in life to make it happen!

As usual, another great episode last night. The only thing that ticked me off was the preview for next week's episode... the intro stated it would be the "mid-season finale". DAMNIT, EFF YOU ONCE AGAIN AMC :snobby:

Showers or baths?
I took baths when I was a kid. I'm not a kid anymore. Hence, shower. Oh yeah and the new water thing, that's a good reason too.
