  1. There's not really any one way I picture them. Somehow over time I concoct a vision of them in my head, individually. And then when I actually see a picture of them I am usually way off. So I think I should just not even bother anymore.
  2. Yes, in my high school anatomy class. They were full-sized ones though. In total it took us a month since we were locating every single muscle, organ part, etc., so we had to keep on re-storing them. But to relate to the original topic though, there isn't really any blood left when dissecting stuff so it kind of doesn't really equate imo.
  3. Someone from here already contacted the guy a few weeks ago, and his response was that he had nothing to do with the band, had no knowledge of anything related to this, etc. It's posted somewhere on here, just not sure where...
  4. So did I. :awesome: When I was in high school, I took a day trip to an elementary school and showed a class how to dissect lungs. FUN FUN FUN
  5. Welcome here, Paul! :nice: Feel free to check out the Instrument Room forum, I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful info there!
  6. Nope, I'm fine with it. I can understand why some people might have that reaction though, even if they are mentally okay with it. It is probably a ingrained response in the way that the "fight or flight" response is ingrained; the mind/body is like "whoa this isn't right, something isn't safe or right if something that should stay inside the body is now outside the body, eeeww". Not sure if that makes sense, but maybe you can see what I'm getting at.
  7. Dear Mad Hatter, You may be bleeding from your face, but this is causing me to bleed from my bum. We shall rejoice in a bleeding orafice symphony. Hugs, NumbersGirl p.s. Yeah I don't like the title either.
  8. actually I was waving hello to the entire thread :D
  9. I realize it's going to public information anyway, but what do they hope to gain out of tweeting it?
  10. I looked briefly at some stuff, and it does sound pretty bad. But in my brief look, I didn't see anything describing exactly what makes it such a "carbon bomb". I saw lots of "this is really bad" stuff, but nothing describing WHAT makes it bad in terms of releasing carbon. Is it the processing of the tar sand to remove the oil that creates oodles of carbon? Is it the construction of the pipeline that creates the excess carbon? Is it the flatulence from the workers standing around after their lunch break? Is it all of the above? I know it's bad to dig up Mother Earth, but the main point they seem to be making is in regard to the carbon; and then I don't see any description of that part of it.
  11. welcome to the club :awesome: now for the rest of it...
  12. it will find you once you stop looking /sounds cheesy, but true
  13. Probably. And hence, their actuaries also probably don't incorporate such "experience" when calculating premiums.
