I remember shortly after I joined here, I posted a VM on your profile saying how much I liked your avi. I still love it!
  3. No I'm talking about the person that started the thread. :nice:
  4. Just found out that during the jury deliberations, the jury originally voted 10 not guilty to 2 guilty for the first 2 counts (murder and child abuse). The jury was originally split 6-6 for the third count of manslaughter. Obviously the not guilty people were persuasive (among which I'm assuming was the juror that had to leave for vacation). edit: She's going to be released July 13th (next Wednesday). edit 2: Scratch that, it's the 17th now.
  5. why do I find it so amusing that R42 actually said "brain fart" *gigglesnort*
  6. I'll cut her a little slack because she's a noob.
  7. Sore. Plus a bit scratched up on my arms and shins from sliding into home plate (but I was safe so I suppose it was worth it).
  8. Yay, Crests is about to hit a palindrome post count: 144441 I'm such a nerd
  9. The other juror who was scheduled for a vacation cruise probably threatened her to get it over with asap. Okay, probably not, but I'm sure the "urgency" of one of the jurors going on vacation didn't help. Kind of sad.

    omg WIN
  11. Just as an FYI, I've been checking the cable listings for the FTB performance (it is supposed to air on Palladia). The only thing that pops up on any of the channels is a 2006 VFest performance in a few days, and the 'Scott Tenorman' episode of South Park on the 19th. So it looks like the earliest it will air is the 20th.
  12. But this can't be your last post, you've never posted a picture of the two of you.

  17. This particular thread will be closed in accordance with the recent announcement here: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77782 Basically this thread is way too big! But a new one will be started, it will essentially be Part II. This thread will still exist here, so don't worry, it's not going anywhere. :nice: People just won't be able to post in the "old" thread. So still no takers on who wants to start the new thread? I thought fangirls would be throwing themselves at the opportunity...
  18. Okay people as you've figured out this one is going to be closed soon. I'm not a Chris fangirl like the rest of you, so I have no desire to start the new one. Who wants firsties?
  19. Just watching the "regular" news, it seems the issue is that although there was loads of evidence (the majority of which was circumstantial), the fact is that the autopsy could not prove the exact cause of death. Without that, the jury could not say that she definitely suffocated, and also could not say that she definitely didn't drown in the family pool. That is likely the sole place where the reasonable doubt is. There is a good chance that all of the jurors believe in their gut that she did it, but they can't convict based on their opinion, they are only allowed to convict based on the evidence. The prosecution didn't meet their burden. Just because the jury felt they had to rule "not guilty", it by no means indicates that she's innocent. In regard to sentencing, the maximum penalty for each of the 4 misdemeanor counts of lying to policy is 1 year each. She'll get credit for time already served (3 years), so the most amount of time she will serve from this point is 1 year. But she'll likely be serving in the eyes of public opinion for the rest of her life. And even if at some point she says "oh yeah, I did it", she will never serve time for it.
  20. yes, I agree with that I don't think there's much dispute about that one anymore; it was once a design/photography studio (Chapel Studios), but sadly the owner died so his family had to sell the place.
  21. ^^ I wasn't referring to the arched wooden door on the corner at all, just the big black double-doors. But it doesn't really matter anyway.
  22. herp dee derp lying to police woop dee frickin' doo
  23. So basically the jury agrees with the defense's argument that Caylee drowned in the pool and Casey's dad hid the body. So does that mean charges are going to be brought against Casey's dad? I mean, SOMEONE needs to answer for this (although it really is supposed to be Casey). I hope she gets the maximum sentence for each of the four counts of lying to police, whatever that is. Whenever she gets out of prison, she is going to be reviled by so many people.
  24. can't wait to see Nancy Grace's reaction tonight :|
