Another reason why I like Venky's. Wolves were selling tickets at stupid prices, as they usually do, so the club bought all the tickets and sold them at £13 cheaper, directly from our club, out of their own pocket. You'd imagine this was good enough, but today they also decided to throw in a £10 voucher to be spent on the concourse on anything but alcohol (which is understandable, as they can't be seen to promote alcohol and given they are Indian, this may be on religious grounds too). They don't have to do any of this since we would have sold out anyway, and the newest voucher gesture was made well after we had sold out our tickets, so it's not to entice more people to go. They've had some great offers since they came in charge, aimed at a club who already have cheap tickets - see some of the offers before they bought the club.
