  1. You teenager :p
  2. Yeah, I never got the whole pledging your allegiance to a flag thing. Glad we don't do it here. I much prefer your suggestion.
  3. I'm saying it's not weird to feel more at home in another country. I know a few people in this country who feel more at home in America, and there's no ancestral link with them, either.
  4. You should smoke some weed, then talk about munchies.
  5. Well I was annoyed at the person who said it because it is an oxymoron.
  6. Well the whole nature of 'destiny' is that everything is predetermined. If this is the case, we have no control over it at all. Fortunately I don't believe in destiny, but that is also why I wouldn't ever use the word in a literal context. I'm even angrier now.
  7. For the Brits. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b011cpbv/Newsnight_17_05_2011/
  8. Somebody saying 'you are in control of your own destiny'. Shut the fuck up and look up what the word destiny means you fucking idiot.

  11. Nope. Many English people feel more at home in America.
  12. We don't have that crap here.
  13. Certain people will enjoy certain countries. Not necessarily the ones they were born in. It would be a little scary if everybody loved where they were born, unless we had evolved into some form of utopia (which we clearly haven't), ad I'd presume it was down to brainwashing.
  14. I didn't even know there was one. If by the time I come to sell it nobody has come forward with the signed one then I'll check.
  15. I don't think Braga did all too badly to say they were playing a team with over 30 more points than them in the league.
  16. What we are saying is that while there are protests, it won't lead to all that much. I'd happily be proved wrong, but I can't see it.
  17. In London, and they played indoor in front of a waterfall coming from above their heads with a light show on the waterfall. Glorious.
  18. I think there are many differences between Spain and Egypt.
  19. Ainsley made me remember Sigur Ros. They were very good.
  20. Americans call them airplanes.
  21. I don't think there is enough push, that is the problem.
  22. This thread made my day. I watched a fuck load of Summer Heights High. So it is a fun topic.
  23. You can't be as backward as the town next to me (Burnley). They still point at aeroplanes.
  24. I do sometimes wonder if they put their ETA's back by half an hour haha. Everyone I've been on have landed early, to much celebration over the speakers. It just means I have to wait longer to get picked up haha.
  25. What kind of backward village do you live in? :p I like spaghetti, I just can't imagine fast food spaghetti is anywhere near as good as normal spaghetti.
