Mother Teresa - Deserving Saint or The Ghoul of Calcutta?
True, I just feel all sides of her work should be reported. Most people I know aren't aware of everything she did. I certainly wasn't taught that side of her life in Religious Education at school. I think it's only fair to let people make their own mind up about things once given all the facts.

Love can ease pain, say brain researchers
I'm unsure. All I know is what it says in the article and I didn't really read it. Just thought it might spark debate so I stuck it up there for anybody interested.

What have you learned today?
:laugh3: It wasn't McDonalds's. It was the woman at the job centre and she gave me her direct email address (like her home one, not her work one), which I'm pretty sure she isn't supposed to do and gave me loads of extra information 'off the record'. Obviously this isn't the only thing that made me think she liked me, she was flirting a lot and sat very close even though she didn't have to. We even discussed my European Tour. She was like 40 :p but I admire her ambition.

Future Creativity
Imagine saying that though. I wonder what the 'final' invention was which sparked him to say that. Or perhaps, the lamest idea for an invention which made him think it was all over. Either way, what a fool. I know it's easy to say in retrospect, but it's not like there was ever a lull where nothing was invented for a while.

What have you learned today?
Today I learnt that if the woman at the job centre finds you attractive your chances of getting a job increase.

I've heard that quoted often, though never the source. Thanks.

Mother Teresa - Deserving Saint or The Ghoul of Calcutta?
The Catholic Church sure feels that Britain is anti-religion (but by that I think they mean anti-Catholic). According to one of the Pope's advisors we are like a Third World country due to our multi-culturalism and amount of Atheists. I think one of the main mistakes people make when defending religion is presuming that there would not be good people without religion. Mother Teresa could have done what she did without her faith (as is proved from her letters which showed she had no faith for a considerable amount of time). Had she acted as though religion was not the reason for her actions more people would have been saved as the money donated would have actually gone to people who needed it rather than the spread of Catholicism through scare tactics. She still did a lot of good work though, obviously. It's just a shame she needlessly restricted herself.

Sufjan Obsessed Disorder
I don't see the fascination myself, but I don't find him annoying either.

Future Creativity
I think new platforms will be made that right now seem inconceivable. This will allow things to carry on being made. Also since most art is a reflection on life, with so many events occurring all the time there will always be new expressions and movements.

9/11 Conspiracy Theories!
When has context ever mattered to Religion? I'm not trying to change people's mind here. I don't care if people are religious. These are just my feelings on the matter.

It varies from girl to girl but I prefer natural. Some girls suit make-up though, and they feel more comfortable in themselves with it. I don't like it when you hug a girl and it goes all over your collar because they have so much on. A little bit is nice.
