I'm gonna use an iPod to laptop program so I can do another playlist in the future, but with more songs that I couldn't have first time. Don't know when I'm going to host it though. I'd like to hear another one by Mike soon.

I find the songs of Plastic Beach to more subtle, outside the hip hop tracks which are refreshing throughout. I've decided to listen to their debut album first and work my way through chronologically. I wouldn't worry too much if you missed it guys. Awareness is the key, and that can be achieved through discussion. Having a day specifically for it is useful to attract awareness but nobody is going to think less of you if you didn't know or forgot. Mention it to a friend though, and make somebody else aware. Wearing purple is not the be all and end all. And yeah, my sig is quite fitting today :)

Listened to Plastic Beach in full for the first time the other day. I've heard bits of it and found it decent, but not pursued it up until now. I have to say I'm a fan. Going to listen to some of the earlier albums now, though I only remember liking the singles to Demon Days on first encounter. Time for another listen methinks.

I'm all for it. Easy to jump on a bandwagon and say everyone should be remembered but there are already days for suicide and mental health. Bullying people for their sexuality is a problem and I have no issues with it having it's own day.

Yeah it's always him. The early recordings were done in his garage with a tape recorder and he was a lot more high pitched and frantic, whereas eventually he started recording in studios and he sounded different vocally.

It's a random selection of songs I have on my laptop, which rules out a lot of my favourites since I have so much on my iPod which isn't on my laptop. But I think it will be good for people.

It works from what I can tell. Would I be able to try one tonight, and if it fails spectacularly could you have a backup ready yourself?

22. My friend at uni had it done a few years ago and he got quite depressed by it. He told me he hoped I'd never had to have it (his was for medical reasons and forced, which is very very rare), and not for the pain reasons. Having it done in later life is very different than at birth though and I'm confident that most people who don't have a foreskin don't care about it since they are used to their penis the way that it is and wouldn't change it - likewise the other way around.

Would you cut the labia of a little girl? It represses sexual pleasure to an extent in the same way and can cause trauma, infection and even death. . Incidentally I am not accusing people who have done it as being evil, or anything like that, because it is very much part of American culture, but I hope one day it will stop. On the other hand, I have spoken to people in the past and they have said that they made the decision because they didn't want their child to be different than the rest of the children. This is understandable, as for somebody to feel embarrassed about their genitals is not a good thing. The only problem I have with this view is that it is holding back the nation from moving on from such a barbaric activity. It's a tough choice though, I'm just very aware of where I stand on it when I think about it logically. The points on hygiene are best ignored. I'm clean as a whistle and I have a foreskin :p
