I heard the Grammy's got really bad rep these days. I've never watched or followed it though. I know they recently dropped their Best Rock Instrumental award. That's lame.

Good idea. Might be a bit more restrictive that way though. With direct interviews things can evolve more intimately with running jokes etc.

OK, so figured I'd set up a new thread for the hell of it, to get to know some of the regular posters a bit more on here. I'm not talking personal details, more just a few conversations that tell people a bit about their interests and their outlook and their music taste and all that jazz, avoiding any details they don't want to have posted on here. It won't be an interview as such, it will be more random questions thrown at the person, some completely random, some a little deeper. I'm up for suggestions on how to sort this thing out (who is interviewing, on what platform it will take place - Skype, Msn Messenger if it still exists, PM's) and how to present the whole thing. And I'm fine if this is a shit idea and nobody wants to do it. I think it would be wise if the person who is being interviewed gets to see the final copy/recording/whatever before it goes out, ensuring they are happy with it and edits can be made. I've no problem holding the first interview, though I'm sure others could do a better job. People could also stick their question suggestions in this thread. This thread is basically a rip off of that thread that was recently created where that guys answers questions, except it's more of a series with different people, and it might be presented in a different platform. Spotify has gone really really shit recently, to the point where I don't bother using it. I used to use it all the time, even with the adverts, just because of the wide variety. Now, however, it can take like a minute to buffer a track. My internet isn't great but that's ridiculous. Glad I'm not paying subscription, as I've heard some people do and suffer same thing.

Brit's, Grammy's, Mercury's, NME's, MOBO's, Ivor Novello's? Which would you least want to win? You can specify individual categories too. And you can debate the meaningless/meaningfulness of awards, too.
