  1. That was a joke too! Typical Nagui style... What I like about Nagui is that even though he does a few mistakes like this, he does his job with great passion. There isn't any teleprompter. An interviewer like him able to talk naturally for a few minutes with the artists (around 10 bands/singers a day!!!) is very rare, and about interesting stuff for everybody... Maybe not for us, because we already know everything about them but remember we're the hardcore fans... He did prepare it - and I think he's the best guy in France to do that job.
  2. iCloud is awesome. Very helpful.
  3. Congrats!!! How many GB? Black, White? :D Ok thanks

I recently bought GTA San Andreas on Mac, it was a huge disappointment. It freezes all the time. Mac really isn't for gaming (Football Manager works great though)
  5. C'est un peu mieux organisé qu'au Parc des Princes où la seule solution pour caser tout le monde était de bloquer 2 rues :laugh3:
  6. Ah d'accord ok merci pour l'info je serai donc côté Guy, porte G! L'inverse de Bercy... Et à vrai dire, c'est ce que je m'imaginais :)
  7. Got 4 Pel Or tickets at 10am precisely, on fnac.com :) Great to know we'll be close to the show, whatever happens!
  9. Yup there are 2 sorts of M, with different fonts, 2 sorts of X (same), and 4 symbols : the "wand" (mmix), the flames, the bird and the teardrop.
  10. Yes it is - I was very surprised to see that there are lots of shapes for the confettis - M, X, another sort of M, another sort of X (different fonts) and a few symbols : that MMIX thing, the teardrop, the bird, and the flames. omg, you just ruined this awesome picture
  11. I bought one yesterday for 20€ and it is really great, gorgeous. It has in it all the essence of this era. If the pop-up edition is half as good as this program, I'll be happy. :)
  12. Oh oui désolé de lire ça Angélique, remets-toi vite et bien! Eh bien finalement j'ai croisé personne du forum hier! J'ai pensé à vous tous et ai régulièrement regardé vers la section O mais j'ai vu personne
  13. Congrats about meeting Chris :) And I'm glad you had fun guys!!!!! :D I had a really great time. Me and my friends arrived there around 1:30pm, and it started to be really, really horribly cold around 4pm. But luckily there wasn't any rain, and the door opened "early", at 5:30. It went really quick : 5 minutes later we were in, with a tour program - which is AMAZING by the way, it's big, colorful, has a ton of pictures and interviews, and it really gets you in the mood of the new era. I had a nice spot, the one I wanted : around 5 meters from the stage, 1 or 2 meters from the ramp, on the left side. Perfect to see the boys and all the lighting, visual stuff. Emeli Sandé was a kind of a disappointment - well it would have been a disappointment if I was expecting something from it - : last time I saw Coldplay live, The Flaming Lips were opening for them, and it was of course really incredible, so this time it seemed like it was a little bit flat. I know it's not the same context as an European summer stadium tour, it's not the same kind of music, TFL are a one kind of a band and a very unusual supporting act, etc... but still! Plus the sound was awful... I heard it's pretty hard to make things sound good in Bercy, but it kind of ruined her beautiful voice. We couldn't understand the lyrics because of that - well also probably because we're french too ^^-, and she said in the Coldplay interview that she was "all about the lyrics"... so... Thankfully, the sound was absolutely perfect for Coldplay -thumbs up for Dan's crew-, who came on stage at 9:05pm, precisely the time you could read on the program in the photoblog. The beginning was totally incredible, my favorite part of the show, it felt like a hurricane - mx/hlh with the wristbands, yellow with the balloons, in my place directly after that with all the confettis, shaped as M, X, birds, teardrops, flames, the MMIX thing that looks like a wand... Major Minus looked amazing with the lighting. Lost! was nice too, Chris coming on the ramp. The next highlight was this huge surprise - Shiver! I hope they'll keep these old tracks randomly played for just 1 shows or 2 during the entire tour, it brings color and surprise! Shiver wasn't the old classic I wanted to hear the most, but it felt like a nice gift and I really enjoyed it! I was glad I could hear that new GPASUYF version live! Very cool! Then up in flames & us against the world - unbelievable response from the crowd, from where I was. People were singing it from the bottom of their hearts, everybody singing "up in flaaaaaaaaames" sounded fantastic. Politik always very cool, then Viva... I was kind of disappointed the first time I saw Viva live, I couldn't see Chris on the left stadium ramp. Now I could see him, dancing, in the middle of the arena, lights on, everybody singing... That will be stuck in my memory for a long time. Charlie Brown was beyond words! And a nice little bit of singing on Paradise to finish all this. Encore - Clocks & Fix You like always, with great "Rush-of-blood-retro" lighting on Clocks. ETIAW - loved it, had real fun singing and clapping on that one. And that was it, no Christmas Lights - a little bit of me kept hoping until the very end... especially because I felt like we were missing one song, they didn't play Don't Panic. It all went so fast, especially when you waited 8 hours before the show. People around me couldn't believe it was already over. I agree with Guy on the tour program - it's better not to have a too long gig, but that felt really short. Just one more little song could have made the difference, really. But overall it was an amazing, amazing, amazing gig, that finished to convince me that this MX era is the most interesting one Coldplay has ever created. More than ever, they created a beautiful, complete, imaginative universe, and brought with them a great atmosphere. Thank you, guys! And thank you for reading! :)

You can indeed deactivate the reverse scrolling thing ;) I have to say I actually really like it too. It surprisingly felt very natural. I have the 13" MacBook unibody, but it is not Pro. It's a rare model, but it doesn't have FireWire and, kind of obviously, the specs aren't as good as the Pro one :( Same here! And it lasted 3 hours!

I love Lion - full screen apps, multi-touch gestures, mission control, launchpad, nothing essential but it's really nice.

Yeah? Well I used Pro Tools but I don't know anything about Logic so I'll trust you. But just by curiosity, what makes you say that? I think I would actually like Logic if I had to do music! It's the same battle in movie editing, you have Avid, by the same guys who made Pro Tools, versus Final Cut, by Apple too ; and I prefer Final Cut by far. I read here that Coldplay uses Logic a lot actually, their producer Markus Dravs gave an interview about it.

The 2 most used softwares in music production are, I'm not a pro but I think I'm correct here, Pro Tools and Logic. You can use Pro Tools on both Mac and PC but Logic only works on Mac. And Football Manager is available on Mac! :D But indeed, for "real" gaming, a Mac isn't really an option.
  18. I'll trust you then if you were there and read the autocue, but if Coogan's Partridge is supposed to piss people off, why not doing the exact thing that would work, without telling them, to get an honest reaction? Being such a guest, I think it wouldn't be too hard for him to interrupt them if he really wanted to. Chris deserves an Oscar. Over DiCaprio. We knew he was a funny actor, but here he looks really annoyed and struggling to keep his smile. And Guy's laugh looked totally spontaneous - discrete as he is, I didn't thought he'd laugh like that at something planned.
  19. Wow, Chris really looks like he wants to punch him in the face. You can tell by the boy's reactions (Guy laughing, Johnny still playing... and of course Chris' nastiest look ever!) that this wasn't planned at all, even though the little sketch was.

    Looks like it is!
  21. Exactly! One of those running man shirts had "Glastonbury 2011" on the back... What's the point of buying a Glasto T-Shirt if you weren't there? Telling all your friends and family how cool it probably was, and how much a lot of strangers enjoyed it?
  22. I really like this one. But like Connor!42! wrote, the shop says there is 'Coldplay Mylo Xyloto' written on the back... I just totally hate that, I like discrete stuff. I don't wanna look like a moving ad or some annoying fanboy...
  25. Thanks!! So I guess Whitecross directed the bits in Tokyo, and Rowbotham was the director for the Glasto event? You can read on Rowbotham's website (http://markrowbotham.net/about) that he directed a 'short documentarty of Coldplay's World Tour, not available online for copyright reasons but Mark is happy to show it to you in person if you wish'. Any idea what this is? It's obviously not the Live 2003 one, since John Durrant directed this one.
